I am using this batting on a twin sized quilt. I love the way the batting holds the quilt top and the batting together, eliminating the shifting of the three pieces as they tend to do. There is no glue but I will have very little basting to do before I begin hand quilting and what little I will do will be much easier! Thanks for a great product!

I liked this batting so much that I ordered two more. I create a lot of quilts and I donate them to great causes or to family, so I want them to last decades. This batting is woven evenly and consistently throughout-and it’s very warm. I love quilting with it on my long arm machine because it doesn’t give off a lot of lint or create any problems for the machine. The end product looks smooth and even throughout-making my stitches look great. I not only recommend it, I order it over and over.

I used it and loved it for all my quilting projects. Easy to handle, cut, and hand quilted through it easily.

IF you dont want this batting to shrink 3% you MUST pre wash it ! I had already pre washed the top and bottom fabrics for my quilt. The top is 100% organic cotton in a woven jacquard design. Heavy ! The bottom is German made double napped 100$ cotton flannel in a loom woven buffalo plaid. Now I have got to put this twin size batting in my kitchen sink (I have a front loading washing machine so I cant just put it in a top loader to soak as instructed) and Lord only knows how much this will weigh when fully wet....and find some way to get the water out without spinning it out.....They suggest laying it between a washable blanket and pressing the excess water out.....Not gonna happen ! IF I had read the package BEFORE I opened it, this would go back and I would just use a poly light weight filling....As it is now, this will sit on my sewing closet shelf until I make a quilt and I do not pre shrink the top and bottom first. So I call this a failure to fully disclose. They need to tell you it will shrink 3% if not washed first !!!

Light weight. I chose this because it was recommended on several quilting websites.

This batting is easy to use and easy to launder. I launder all of my fabrics including batting before I put my heart and soul into making a quilt or any project needing batting. This was a good buy when I purchased it.

Ive been quilting for 40 years and can still remember the very fluffy harder to use batting that easily ripped up. This stays in place and is much easier to use. Its my go-to brand. It keeps you warm too. Only big difference that my daughter commented on, is the finished quilt looks flatter than when using the old stuff.

Warm Company Twin Size Batting: I bought this for batting for placemats. I wanted something thin, not fluffy, and enough for a double layer if needed, plus, leftover batting for other projects. (The small packaged batting doesnt go very far and is more expensive per yard.) I washed it, but it didnt shrink much. Just cut off a section equal to the total needed for the placemats and soaked it in clean, warm water. Then I rolled it in a towel to press out the water and dried it on a rack. It handles nicely, although cutting off the section for the placemats was a bit challenging. Theres a small percentage of poly in it. 11/29/17 - I ended up doubling the batting and have enough left for at least one more set of four placemats (3 in all, plus some extra). 12/08/17 - Bought another twin-sized package for making a table runner and more placemats. 01/07/18 - Bought another twin-sized package for making placemats and table runners. Just a little left over for making test quilt sandwiches.

This product was purchased to make microwaveable bowl cozies, and I purchased it thinking it was 100% cotton; it is NOT, and contains “12.5% Polypropelene”. This is not safe for microwave use. It’s a great product for quilts, and anything that won’t be heated. I wish the seller had been more up front with their product content.
