WallyBags® 52” Deluxe Travel Garment Bag

This is a pretty durable garment bag. It can hold quite a bit of dresses or other garments easily. The only issue is that you need to have thin Hangers. I found that thicker Hangers dont fit well at the top, where it latches closed.

These WallyBags are some of my favorites for packing nice clothing. The hangar clamp ought to earn the company a reward, because it makes packing, hanging, toting, re-hanging, and storage so easy. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to fish a lost hangar out of a bag while everything inside crumples up and wrinkles. Nope. Not with these. The hangars are securely anchored at the TOP of the bag, so that no matter how you hold the handle or strap, they are going to keep clothing in place within the bag. The bag neatly folds in half for carrying, and you can easily lay it on top of your luggage or even somebody elses bag in an overhead compartment to keep your items flat. Material is sturdy, and the bag is very well made and will hold up to a lot of trips. Ive ordered several of these bags now and while at the moment they are storing clothing in my closet, (keeping it safe from moths and other evil creatures) I am excited for the time they can travel with me.

Sturdy, well sewn garment bag 52 suitable for dresses, suits. Has their custom Wallybag closure, which is great as it prevents the hangers from dropping down into the bag. Two sturdy handles make carrying this a breeze. I am using it in the closet at the moment ( for suits) but cant wait to use it for travel! Excellent bag.

As advertised. Works well. Keeps my dresses and hubbys suits locked in place so they dont fall during transit.

We had one for my husbands suits. He traveled so it needed to stand up to wear. Now that were retired, we travel more, and I needed one thats dress length. These are just the best value for the reasonable pruce. The top gadget is ingenious! Easy to manage. Nice looking. And good sturdy quality. Buy with confidence!

I was looking for a nice garment bag to travel with on road trips and I really like this bag. Not only is it a quality material but I LOVE the top where your hanger loops fit. It is a thick rubber top with a closure that will keep the hangers in place and also if you are worried about clothes wrinkling you can space out your clothes and they will stay put. I feel it will also help keep the bag from ripping, because that is usually one of the places that it will rip. It also helps you to be able to not have to grab the bag from the hangers and instead can fold it and carry it by the padded handle. With the way the rubber top is, it will also help keep out the dust. I had four shirts, two pairs of jeans and a skirt and they fit very easily and loosely in the bag (meaning not scrunched up). I could see putting multiple shirts and pants/skirts in there. You just want to make sure that your hangers are a wire hanger to fit in the top. I highly recommend this garment bag for either traveling or storing clothes.

-Ive got to say, I wasnt expecting much, I have some garment protectors and they are flimsy and not well made. Okay if you have them on a rack but there is still an opening at the top for insects and dust to get in, PLUS they are expensive and only hold one item. NO WAY could I travel with them. I was in for a pleasant surprise! -the 52 bag was long enough for my longest items - since Im not traveling right now I will be using to store some long dresses. -Well made and feels durable. Description says water repellent, which is a bonus. -Holds up to 6 hangers, I think maybe 5 of my hangers is a better fit but lets say multiple hangers. -The great thing is their patented clip to hold the hangers securely at the top of the bag - no more bag with all of your items in a ball at the bottom - Ive actually had a hanger poke a hole into an item at the bottom of the bag (no, it wasnt a wire hanger from the dry cleaners either). Now you just need to keep your clothes on the hanger! Just unlock, place your clothes/hangers in and relatch. Keeps bugs and dust out too as the seal is very good. -It is made for travel, two handles make holding/carrying easy when folded in half. -On top of all that, the description says its got a limited 5-year warranty - I know, limited. But most companies now days have a 30-day, 90-day or at most one year limited warranties. -5 stars

I am pleasantly surprised at how nice this bag is for the price. I just bought a same length garment bag from the Container store for $25 and it only holds one dress. This bag is perfect! I wanted it just to store my maxi dresses and my formal dresses because my A-hole cat thinks its super cute to sneak in my closet when Im not looking then she tears the hems of my dresses to shreds! I was hoping to store my dresses in this bag to decrease the destruction she creates. I had low hopes honestly and figured my dresses would be bunched up on the bottom of the garment bag but thats better than the cat getting her claws in them. I am 54 and my dresses are not bunched up in the bottom, in fact, they have room to breath down there! I was only able to fit 5 wooden hangers with my dresses in the WallyLock but maybe if you are using the velvet lined hangers you could fit the 6 that they advertise. Regardless, this garment bag is perfect. The WallyLock was a little hard for me to figure out at first, but I just looked at the picture they provide on the tag and figured it out quickly. The material is thick and heavy duty but does not weigh a ton. I could see this would be a great way to transport suits and dresses during a flight or even hanging on the dry cleaning hooks in your car for travel. I had the same issue that my cat was ruining my clothes hanging on the hook when we drove cross country and I totally wish I had this bag during that drive to organize my clothes and protect them from my cat. PERFECT bag, great price, DO NOT HESITATE to buy this.

I picked up this product so I could store the clothes I was going to wear while my fiancé came to visit, along with the costumes I have gotten over the past year or so. It worked pretty darn well for the clothes, but I haven’t used it for the costumes yet. Funnily my fiancé thought it looked like a body bag. She pointed out that it was supposed to be hung from something. Even though I didn’t quite use it as intended it worked well for me. If you are in the need to store suits, I would highly recommend this product.
