> 3 dayOther reviews talk about the picture and the lack of a USB-C cable. They have heard and now include a 10Gb/s 1m long cable which works fine. The built-in speaker sound quality is not as good a the build-in late model MacBook Pro laptop, but is ok. The USB-C cable allows for the monitor to be almost be a docking station. After a month of our family using 2 of these monitors, Ive raised it to 5-stars.

> 3 dayAmazed at the picture quality & brightness. This Is my first viewsonic monitor, wont be the last. Very easy to setup. Highly adjustable. Extra wide resolution is worth it. Lightweight, but sturdy. Easily better than the generic computer brand monitors. Should have started with viewsonic!

> 3 dayMonitor performed well overall. I liked how adjustable the screen was in terms of angles and height. The only issue I had was with the Type -C interface. Regardless of the USB C cable i used (I tried many) or the monitor settings (I reset the monitor multiple times) I would inevitably hear a high pitch whine from the LCD. The whine would go away whenever I used a HDMI cord. Since I bought the monitor specifically because it had a type c interface, the particular display I received didnt work for me.

> 3 dayFor the price, it is unbeatable. Im glad chose the 1440p model over full HD. I was on the fence since I dont do any gaming and this would purely be for office use and browsing. It makes a big difference in how much text that can be displayed and the clarity as well. Bonus USB ports on the side not shown in the specs.

26-09-2024I was in the market for an affordable 26inch+ USB-C monitor for my new Dell XPS 15 Laptop. I wanted it to have 3 things: 1. USB-C for power and video 2. Greater than 1080p resolution 3. Good tilt and swivel This monitor was the only one I found that fit these criteria and was under $400. The mechanism to attach the monitor to the base is very good, easy to connect and seems very secure. It also requires no tools. The bezel is very thin on the tops and sides, a little bigger at the bottom. I has some usb inputs on the monitor also, which are useful. The only downside is that the XPS I have requires 130v power input, which is very high for a laptop, and so you get a message about slow charger connected when using the usb-c here for video and charging. I dont know that many monitors or cables could pass through that much power anyway? Most laptops require less wattage and should have no issues. Overall a very good looking monitor. Would definitely recommend.

> 3 dayPlease be advised, you need a specific USB C cable for this monitor to work with your Macbook Pro or any laptop you have. I DID read a review that says you need a USB C 3.1 cable so I bought an Anker cable. The review on it says IT DOES transmit video but it does not. The reason why the review says so is because it pulls from all versions of the cable so there is a version that DOES work. I bought this, however, 60W USB C to USB C Cable [3.3ft, 10Gbps], iVANKY USB C 3.1 Gen 2 Cable Fast Charge with Power Delivery and 4K Video Output, Braided Type-C Video Cable, for MacBook, Chromebook Pixel, iPad Pro and More This works!

> 3 daylong story short, I shouldve kept my previous LG monitor from Costco and just bought an external speaker. It would probably have been much cheaper. This monitor is neat for being adjustable.

Greater than one weekI have Mac Pro. I used type-c data cable that came with package, and the one which I have bought separately which is designed for both power, video/audio transfers. Both didnt work. Gladly I have HDMI adaptor through with monitor is working. I am planning to return as I bought this especially for type-c.
