ViewSonic VG2448A 24 Inch IPS 1080p Ergonomic Monitor with Ultra-Thin Bezels, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB, VGA, and 40 Degree Tilt for Home and Office

I dont know why looking at some monitors gives me migraines, and others dont. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the monitors that gives me migraines. I have played with all of the settings, and adjusting the brightness, contrast etc. doesnt help. After an hour sitting in front of it, my eyes hurt and I feel awful. Will be returning and looking for another new monitor.

This monitor has excellent build quality, a nice image, and every feature you could want. -Great inputs - DP, HDMI, and VGA -Fully-adjustable stand. Can tilt, rotate, and height-adjust. -IPS panel which is good for general computing tasks. Gamers might prefer a panel with lower response time though. -Image quality is excellent. Sharp text and nice colors. -Integrated speakers for convenience. Sound quality is mediocre like almost all monitor speakers. -Build quality is very good. The casing is solid and not creaky. Minimal flex when you pull-and-tug on the monitor. -Finish is a matte, textured black that wont pick up fingerprints. Bezels are thin. -Hard buttons which are very easy to use. Much better than unreliable touch-sensitive buttons. -2x USB 3.0 available on the left of the monitor. The new version includes a USB-C port.

Excellent monitor for writing papers as it has a well designed swivel to Portrait position Much better picture quality than monitor it is replacing and my second monitor as well Im using DP connection and cable on Dell Optiplex SFF PC

I replaced an older Dell with this ViewSonic, which I am overall pretty happy with. The panel could be a little brighter, but it does have one feature which is very useful to me - I have two computers plugged into it, and if I sleep one and wake the other, it will automatically switch inputs. Not rocket science, but much nicer than fiddling around with the OSD to switch.

The image quality of its 24” screen is superb with a crisp resolution of 1920 x 1080p. The monitor permits wide viewing angles from all sides up to 178 degrees making it perfect for group presentations and work environments. The monitor is remarkably easy to set up. There are just three pieces. The stand firmly attaches to its base with a single thumbscrew. The monitor screen has a quick-release button that attaches it to the stand. There are also custom mounting options. The stand has a handle on top so the monitor is portable and easy to relocate when necessary. The flexibility of the mount permits tilting up to 40 degrees, pivoting, and rotation. Vertical up and down adjustments are counterbalanced so changing heights can be done with a fingertip. At the bottom-right corner of the bezel, there is a power switch and a series of buttons that control the onscreen display. Some of the many controls are: Auto and Manual Image Adjustment, Contrast/Brightness, Input Selection, Audio Adjustment, Color Adjustment, General Information, and a Setup Menu. This is a very nice monitor with crisp high quality definition. The size is nice and I love the ability to swivel and rotate the monitor if I set up a multi-monitor situation. I was a little bummed that it didnt include DVI input (since one of my machines has a DVI out but not an HDMI out) but I dealt with it. The stand is a decent size as well. I keep hoping for monitor bases to shrink but I know theyve got to hold up the screen stably so its alright. I like the hole in the back of the monitor stand and have used that to feed my cables through as a way to help keep unruly cables from running away. The additional USB port is handy as well.
