> 24 hourIf you havent been paying attention, good quality desktop computer monitors have gotten a lot cheaper in recent years. A few years ago, IPS displays were way too expensive for most home users, so we settled for TN displays that had poorer contrast, poorer color reproduction, and poorer viewing angles for a much lower price. Now days, good IPS displays like this one are only slightly more expensive than cheaper technologies and are worth the price for home office use or for people who do a lot of photo or video editing or even video game playing. This monitor has 3 connection plugs for easy set-up with almost any computer. It was plug-and-play with my Microsoft Windows system. Just plugged it in and it configured itself. Construction is solid, if a little heavy. The display looks great. Hardcore users may prefer a 27 display and those have gotten a lot cheaper in recent years, too. Or go for two 24 displays side-by-side. You have lots of good reasonably priced options these days.

> 24 hourThis monitor has excellent build quality, a nice image, and every feature you could want. -Great inputs - DP, HDMI, and VGA -Fully-adjustable stand. Can tilt, rotate, and height-adjust. -IPS panel which is good for general computing tasks. Gamers might prefer a panel with lower response time though. -Image quality is excellent. Sharp text and nice colors. -Integrated speakers for convenience. Sound quality is mediocre like almost all monitor speakers. -Build quality is very good. The casing is solid and not creaky. Minimal flex when you pull-and-tug on the monitor. -Finish is a matte, textured black that wont pick up fingerprints. Bezels are thin. -Hard buttons which are very easy to use. Much better than unreliable touch-sensitive buttons. -2x USB 3.0 available on the left of the monitor. The new version includes a USB-C port.

> 24 hourFirst off, the delivery was extremely fast. I ordered it on Saturday and it arrived Monday morning. More importantly, the monitor was extremely easy to set up. I plugged it in to my lap top using an HDMI cable, then went to the desktop settings and clicked on detect and almost instantly I was looking at two fully operational screens. The screen height and angle is extremely easy to adjust and it has the option to rotate the screen from landscape to portrait position. This screen was strongly recommended to me by my companys IT technician. She was absolutely spot on. Very happy.

> 24 hourThis is my first ultrawide, and so far I love it. Using it mostly for viewing text with lots of windows open, so I cant speak to how good it is for gaming or streaming. Picture is sharp. If your PC only has one video port (such as a typical laptop), this monitor is a good alternative to a docking station with two monitors. Looks great with my eyes are about 2 ft. from the screen, but the left and right edges of the screen are near the limits of the LCD viewing angle, so a prospective buyer might want to consider a curved-screen monitor depending on viewing distance and what youre using it for. (Im looking at lots of small text, but if youre watching movies or playing games, you probably wouldnt notice it, especially if your face is more than 2 ft. away.) Youll want your PC to have a decent graphics card to handle the approx. 410 sq. in. of 2k resolution. Five benjamins is a bit pricey - so its not quite getting the five stars - but thats my only complaint so far.

> 24 hourNo complaints. I did the research and found the features I wanted for a dual monitor setup. Good price.

> 24 hourIt’s very maneuverable - swivels left to right, moves up and down, and even tilts. Big plus when using with a second screen with laptop/Surface given varying heights.

> 24 hourI bought this monitor for my HP Z6 workstation, that I use mainly for my 1K to 2K video work used mainly on the Internet and for individual video projects for many organizations that I work with. The large screen is really great when working with highly detailed videos. The adjustable rotating and various tilt angles ergonomic base is a nice feature so a person doesnt have to strain their neck when working long hours on a video project. Although it has multiple connection formats, I use the latest display port connection, which is a nice addition and slightly less cumbersome than the HDMI or the older digital port connections. The images and colors are crisp, bright, and clear without any noticeable imperfections at any angle that lesser quality monitors seem to exhibit. I prefer ViewSonic products due to their great quality. The built-in blue light filter is a nice feature to reduce eye strain during long editing sessions. Overall, Im very happy with this large monitor.

> 24 hourThe picture quality is lower than most standard monitors and is grainy. The buttons are not labeled so you have to guess or read the manual to use them. It loses connection to the HDMI input and goes black. When the screen goes black, even if it is on, you cannot see the menu options when you push the buttons so you cant tell what you are doing when you attempt to change inputs. I have worked with many brands of monitors over the years. This is the worst I have ever seen.
