The best cheap price projector I ever bought. Would recommend. I have this projecting on a 150 inch screen . The picture quality is amazing !! Even with the lights on . So if you looking for a inexpensive projector, this is the one for YOU ! .

What a great projector! It excels all of my expectations. I use this for garden club presentations and good color and sharpness are a necessity when showing photos of flowers and gardens. We turn out a few lights, but there is still plenty of light and I have even used it with full light and the brightness is excellent. It is so easy to use - basically plug & play. I use a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter with USB Audio adapter to connect my MacBook Pro (or PC) to the projector (or TV). Simply plug in the USB connector and Mini DisplayPort connector to a PC or Mac® and the HDMI connector to an HDMI slot in the projector or TV. Turn it on and Its that easy.

Got to say I do enjoy this projector! Hooked up the firestick to it and my Bose Soundlink speaker! Endless movie watching! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to watch movies or play video games on a 120 screen!

I bought this as an outdoor projector for family movie nights during COVID. It works great for the price, but there are limitations. First, the sound is terrible from the machine alone, you will need extra speakers if using outdoors - for a single family one smaller speaker like the Shark/OONTZ will work, but for a neighborhood night I needed to buy a high wattage speaker. The picture is generally great, but what you use as the source will make a difference (much crisper and clearer when hooked to Blu-Ray player versus streaming). If you are planning to use outdoors, timing and sunlight is a major consideration. It is not usable in any daylight. I live in Northern New Jersey and the sun sets in the front of my house. The back is shaded from 7PM on in the summer. I have used it as early as 7:45PM but the picture is very light and barely can be seen. It gets better at 8PM, but really not decent until 8:15PM at the earliest. My flood lights do not impact it that much, it is really a daylight issue. Overall we are happy with it. My kids enjoy movie night each week and we were able to have a drive-in themed socially distanced birthday party for my oldest.

This projector works great, no complaints about the product itself, however the box it arrived in had obviously been repurposed, had old labels that had been ripped off etc. Upon opening there was no power chord included. We had an extra chord lying around so were able to use the projector which like stated above works great. After checking the Lamp details on the projector menu it had 23 hours of use logged, so obviously the projector was in used condition. I bought it new and was sent a used projector. I would love to be compensated with power chord and new bulb. Be warned of trickery.

This has been a tricky review to write because of all my experience lately with low-cost no name projectors. ViewSonic is the only name brand I have tested with the hopes that it would be higher quality than the various relabeled Made in China ones I have been using (and most of those have been surprisingly great). Let me start with some positive notes: 1. This is an INCREDIBLY BRIGHT and SHARP projector! Normally I test them in a dark room, but after seeing how great this DLP picture was, I brought it to the brightest well-lit room in my apartment - the kitchen. With multiple windows letting in noon sunlight, and the lights on (four bulbs in a ceiling fan, plus four spotlights in a center light) AND sitting next to multiple GROW LIGHTS (they are bright) and projecting on to a non-white wall, the image was still stunning. Ill attach a photo of the startup screen that shows the sharpness of the letters. Impressive! 2. The warranty is 3 years, which is fantastic. 3. It also supports 3-D video (PGD-350 glasses are $65 list price). This was the main reason I was curious about getting a DLP projector. Hopefully the lower resolution (1024x768) wont detract from the viewing experience compared to a modern HD TV (1920x1080). 4. It supports a tiny bit of screen size adjustment, and has vertical AND horizontal keystone correction available through the menus. Most cheap projectors support vertical (for projectors mounted on the ceiling, or on a lower table projecting up), but none of the other ones I have supported horizontal. This allows you to put the projector off center in a room (like on the side of a couch) and get a straight square picture. Nice. Now let me get some downsides out of the way: 1. The only modern port on this projector is a single HDMI input. It contains two old-style VGA inputs and one VGA ouput, which is great if you have a PC from the 90s. Fortunately, Macs and other modern PCs can usually use an adapter to swap their DVI/Thunderbolt/etc. to VGA. This means if you dont already have one, there will be extra cost using this projector. It also has a composite (!) RCA video input. How quaint! (Useful if you want to hook up non-HD devices, though, but I dont think I have anything left in my apartment that isnt HD these days.) 2. The resolution is only XGA (1024 x 768). Thats a resolution that came out in 1990. My ancient 2012 MacBook laptop has 1280x800 native, so when using a Thunderbolt-to-HDMI Adapter, I still wont get anything better. Keep this in mind if you are using this for laptop presentations. Powerpoint and such looks fine if folks design the slides properly, but displaying spreadsheets and other data might be cramped. Before purchasing, switch your computer to 1024x768 and look at things you want to project and make sure this is okay for you. You can find projectors at about half this cost that are at or higher than XGA, so if resolution is important, this may not be your best choice. 3. It claims that extended life is up to 15,000 hours. The ViewSonic website offers a replacement lamp for $149. This is typical for DLP projectors versus LCD projectors that might have 45,000 or more hours of expected life. You need to decide if the tradeoff is worth it. I think it is, since that would be like using it 8 hours a day for over 5 years. Just be sure you mount it somewhere that you can get to it if you ever need to change the lamp. 4. There is no USB or SD card input, which even cheap toy projectors all seem to come with these days. For most, this wont matter, but I often use projectors for holiday displays and load up video on a USB drive and let it play on its own. For this Ill need to get a cheap video player or hook it to a DVD player or something. Not a dealbreaker for most. Because some of my negatives impact how I use projectors (lack of USB/SD input) and because I feel it might just be an old design (VGA, composite video), I am only giving it four stars. BUT, build quality seems great, and ViewSonic is at least a known name brand (though known for low cost alternatives, to me). I will revise this review if my opinions change down the line. My advice is -- if 3-D isnt important, and you can handle a slightly less-bright screen, there are options for $100 less that may suite you better.

The projector is very bright, even in a room with ceiling lights. The multiple input options - HDMI, VGA - are very handy. The only downside is that the internal speaker is weak, but the audio output jack allows external speakers to be connected. Viewsonic projectors have performed well in the past.

Love the quality of the picture and that this projector does have built-in speaker. Needs to have a lens cover, though. Thats the only downfall. Id still recommend this projector for the price and projection quality. I have actually ordered three for my organization.
