ViewSonic 3800 Lumens SVGA High Brightness Projector for Home and Office with HDMI Vertical Keystone (PA503S)

I dont know a lot about projectors, this is the first one Ive owned or used BUT Ive seen a couple others being used and the quality of pictures that were produced. I am so happy with this purchase. We are using this projector to watch movies outside in our back yard in the evenings. And the brightness of this projector is amazing. The quality of the picture is also amazing. Weve only used it twice but both times its work great. No problems. Easy set up, audio in/out. Others dont have the audio out capability. Over all COMPLETELY satisfied with this projector so far!!

Good quality for low price.

We use this on our outside covered patio on a white painted wall. It works great early evening but not during day - just not bright enough, which we expected based on reviews. Night time is perfect. We are watching videos from a macbook via HDMI and everything functions as promised. We stream the sound from the macbook to a blutooth speaker. If there was one thing that is a little off is that it projects a little bit red - noticeable in faces mostly. Tried all the settings for picture but none fix the reddish hue. Now keep in mind I am comparing the colour to the macbook while it streams which is flawless (and cost $2000) so maybe not a fair comp to a $400 projector. For what we paid, we love it. We do not leave it outside even though our patio is covered, we only bring it out when we watch movies (or TV). Overall, I can recommend it. And we have owned high end projectors in our home theaters that we have spent up to $3000 for. Technology has come a long way and the price has come way down. Sweet.

I purchased five of these projectors and installed four of them in different classrooms. Great quality, bright even in a lit room. Use primarily for Power Point presentations, docs, spread sheets, etc. They all work great. Installed the fifth projector is a large meeting room that seats about 150 people. Room has floor to wall windows on three sides and this projector works well with the shades closed only half way to keep some of the bright sun out. Great buy....

We have another projector that is a few years old, so we were unsure whether another projector would be worth buying. After trying this projector, our answer is an unqualified yes. The two best features of this projector are the brightness and the resolution. Our older projector is okay, but needs a fairly dark room for decent viewing, even with a display screen. This projector can handle more ambient light with great image quality that is a substantial improvement over our older projector, which was also more expensive. As should be expected, connecting to our laptop was super easy, HDMI cable directly to the projector, with a separate audio out connection to speakers. The projector has separate zoom and focus adjustments, making it relatively easy to adjust display size within a limited range. Of course, distance to the display surface is also important, so be prepared to find the right location for the projector before fine-tuning the optical adjustments. Speaking of connections, this project has more connections than we know how to use. Our laptops use HDMI and VGA, and we connected with HDMI, so the other connectors are for people who need other options. One connector is for a separate monitor, which can be used for close-up viewing, a connection to another projector in another room or another area of a large room, etc. Projectors have come a long way in the last ten years. We remember the first projectors being very expensive and low power. This projector is light years ahead of those projectors, at a significantly reduced price. In view of the brightness of the projected display, the high resolution of the images, the color, the connections, and the size, this projector easily wins a five-star rating from us for home or office use. I had an 8 year old view sonic and the fan blew so it was shutting down. I use it in my cabin to watch movies. The brightness is shockingly better than my old one. This is a bargain projector but there is a lot of value and it functions very well. I use to have to wait until dark to use it, but I can now use it in a dim room.

Super bright, picture quality is good for the price. The sound on the projector itself is not very loud even on the loudest setting, but there’s an aux in/out for speaker connection. Very happy with this purchase.

Description said that it has Bluetooth. It does not.
