> 3 dayI ordered this to re-paste my old laptop that had started to develop overheating problems. On the plus side, it did help to solve the thermal throttling. However, based on how hyped up this product is, I was expecting better performance than 97 degrees while gaming. I find myself wondering if I shouldve gone with my tried and true Arctic Silver 5 instead. In short, this thermal paste will do the job, but may not live up to the lofty expectations you may have based on the hype surrounding it.

Greater than one weekThis thermal paste seems to be on par with Arctic silver. I did not do an a to b comparison of stock thermal paste on my cooler versus this, but temps seem to be stable and maybe 1-2 degrees cooler at idle from what I can tell, which is great for just paste.

It breaks down at temperatures higher than 80 degrees. In my case, temperatures increase by 15 degrees Celsius, days after applying the paste and my I5 9300H in Lenovo Y540 starts to throttle in any recent game. Ive reapplied it 3 times by now and have experienced the same results, 80-82 degrees max in the first few days and then 95~ after a week or two.
