I love this radio is super easy to convert to 11 meters the only thing that I notice unusual; is the turning on display it takes about 3 sec for display to light up . Other than that is a nice and very powerful radio . It is one of my favorites.

Like the receive audio, Has a nice display . Transmits well with good modulation . Has 10 bands of 40 channels . Inside has surface mount parts design for increased reliability and performance . Frequency counter reads out to 100 cycles . Radio scans 40 channels in each band and you can lock out channels that you do not want to scan .

This thing has all the features you could want and puts out plenty of power

Brand new out of the box pictures shows all the corners on the black casing chipped away. Are these supposed to come with a clear protective film on the case i wonder? Either way seems to work alright, just make sure you connect it to the battery directly else you wont get those posted wattage figures i believe. Edit : 6/5/17. The frequency dial selector when turning clockwise misses channel selecting sometimes. Meaning when I turn the frequency knob dial to say channel 21 for example from channel 20 , the dial knob clicks but the channel remains still set on channel 20. EDIT. 8/10/17 Bought another one,this is one has white powder residue under the LCD panel, poor QC.

Got the newest model, so instead of the pin switch inside I had to solder it. CB output rates at 81 watt. Could have adjusted it a bit higher but I am good at that. Make sure you have correct antenna for your set up. You can have the best radio and bad antenna set up, you might as well roll down the window and yell.

Great Talking Radio Radio Radio break break break.... got this last night did the conversion in 32 seconds put the cover back on then fired it up.. takes about 1 hour to get used to all the controls. and set things up. The software worked after i got a driver file from another website to make windows 7 64 bit see the usb port as a com port.. wired up a road devil microphone and we were off.. was pegging some locals meters that were 18 miles away base to bade.. talked a load of skip today on 38 and 37 lsb The negative??? IT IS PACKED LIKE CRAP FROM AMAZON there IS NO FOAM IN EITHER BOX NO BUBBLE WRAP NOTHING NOTHING AT ALL THE RADIO BOX ITSELF HAS NO FOAM PACKING OR PROTECTION EITHER... SO YOU ARE TAKING A HUGE CHANCE STRYKER WENT THE CHEAP ON PACKAGING>>>>
