Id give it another star if it came with a tape closure (or something) to seal off the hanger opening.

The moment you pull it out of the plastic casing, you smell a STRONG vinyl smell. Not only I can not put my new coat in the garment bag to protect it, I can not even walk in to the room I hung it in attempt to disperse the smell because the odor is so pungent. The cedar is so small (1x6 at the most) that it does not even do anything against the vinyl smell. I do not recommend buying this product.

The price is right. The fabric is substantial without being heavy. I use these to store my longer wool coats. Great protection from moths. Am a repeat customer.

Ive purchased cotton garment bags with cedar before. This bag did not live up to prior experiences. Made in China, the cotton bag has a noxious chemical smell, and worse the cedar is a mere 1/2 by 6 small! Its a joke. It will cost me more to return it than its worth so Ill just throw it out. Dont waste your money.

This is a very good garment bag! It protects your items very well from dust and the elements. Mine is currently storing 6, full-length, winter coats without a problem. I even checked on the coats after being in storage for a few months . . . and they remained in the same pristine condition as the day I initially put them in the garment bag. I will most certainly purchase more of these as they are an excellent value.
