Greater than one weekWas pretty stoked to get this bad boy into my rig and see what kind of loading times Id get. After installing it into the first PCIe slot I could find, I booted into BIOS and saw the drive was recognized, so I had no apprehension. Fast forward a few hours and Ive tried everything short of reinstalling Windows. Its simply undetectable to Windows. Ive ordered a replacement that should be here in a couple days, so Ill adjust my review based on how (and if) that one performs. Until then, its 1 star from me.

> 3 dayRun drive runs very cool, keeping the underside of the laptop very comfortable to hold and use. Speeds are great and it even has DRAM for this price. It replaced a hot running Samsung 970 which I moved to a desktop computer.

> 3 dayMy HP Omen desktop came with a 256GB SSD and I wanted to upgrade to a 1 TB one. I opened up the PC and got the manufacturer info off the existing SSD. I wasnt familiar with SK Hynix but as it had worked for me 100% without a problem for the year I have the PC I decided to get the 1TB chip and give it a try.

Greater than one weekThis thing is a beast. Fast, reliable and runs better than my other Samsung 970 EVO Plus.

22-09-2024Running this as an external SSD in thunderbolt enclosure. ~1Gb/s consistent transfer speed over thunderbolt 3 port on Windows 10/11. Satisfactory for my purposes. Installs and runs AAA PC games from it with no issues as well.
