25-09-2024Upgraded to one of these from an older 850Evo, and the improvement has been pretty darn solid. Running performance benchmarks on this drive Im almost exactly getting 3500/3500 sequential read/writes, an almost 7x improvement from my previous sata ssd. Considering the price (paid about $130 for 1TB) and performance, this is one of the better drives Ive bought, and am strongly considering another one or two in the short term.

Greater than one weekGreat M.2 2280 SSD. Easy to install and very fast PCIe NVMe Gen3 performance. Read/Write transfer speeds consistently above 3000 MB/s, representing great speed for the cost of this SSD. Recommended laptop upgrade for systems than can use this type of SSD.

23-09-2024I set up Windows using the free cloning tools that came with the SK hynix SSD. The process was very easy and intuitive: All I did was click a series of Next icons and cloning was complete within 40 minutes. I don’t tend to expect much from bundled software but was very satisfied with this particular software. I was pleased with the quick and easy migration, as well as the SSD’s performance itself. My system is definitely running much faster than before – I can say that for sure even without benchmarks.
