> 24 hourBought this for storage and speed as Samsung products have been getting bad reviews. The only trouble I had was to get my computer to recognize the drive. I went into bios and turned off safeboot. I restarted and it recognized the drive. If you are upgrading from a lower capacity and making a clone you’ll have to repartition the drive if you want to use the whole drive. If you are building and setting up for the first time you won’t have to worry about it. The drive doesn’t come with a standard encryption like other brands. Bitlocker is a fix but requires windows pro, dev, or edu. If you are a Uni student your university will usually offer education for free which can run Bitlocker. Cheap and easy.

> 24 hourIts an SSD. Ive been using them almost exclusively for 6-7 years now so Im used to their speed. Ive only had this one about 6 weeks so not much to say except so far so good. I pulled a smaller Samsung out of my XPS, put this in and reloaded the OS from scratch so I cant comment on the cloning software. Other than the usual Windows update nonsense. its been smooth sailing.

> 24 hourInstalled in Dell G3 15 3579, went through the usual process to clone and it worked fine going forward.

> 24 hourInstalled via an Inatek M.2 PCIe adapter (found here on Amazon) on an X58 Classified 4-Way with no issues. Idles at around 44 Celsius but thats near what some RAM cards put out. Using it in a big Thermaltake tower and its temperature is not affecting the case temperature at all. Cant be used as a boot drive w/the native X58 BIOS but theres a workaround out there for those who would want that capability. All in all, completely pleased with this upgrade.

> 24 hourThe Gold P31 1TB NVMe caused a conflict with my laptop ACPI battery management. I have an LG Gram 17 (17Z90N) and after approx. 2 months I noticed that my battery charge status would not update. I contacted SK hynix for technical support and didnt even receive a response. I replaced the Gold P31 with a Samsung 970 EBO Plus which is working flawlessly. My 3 start rating for the P31 is base on the following:
