I was a little nervous to dismantle my sewing machine for needed maintenance. I ordered this Singer machine oil and dove in. Just like the instructions state, one drop is all you need. The annoying rattle in my machine is gone and it actually sounds like it did years ago! Running perfectly and smoothly. Genuine product - and it works!

In this day and age with gas prices it is cheaper by far in time and money to find these here and have them delivered if you have prime. I do and I ordered it to save me about 2 gallons of gas going to buy one fairly locally. The oil arrived sealed and in good shape. I used it on the bits inside a Singer 301a I had just bought and wouldnt work. After oiling and moving the gears around by hand, the gears all broke free and the machine purrs like a kitten. I still need to get some gear grease but at least now I know the machine runs. I dont know a thing about oil except its greasy so all I can say is, this worked for what I needed it to do and Im happy with the purchase. I will probably never have to buy oil like this again, so the little bottle will be on the shelf waiting for the next time I need it.

As always, Singer makes an oil that seems to work well and does the job. I have no idea if there is some other high-grade super sewing machine oil made by someone else but, Ive used singer oil on my machines for the last 58 years and it has always worked well.

I little expensive. Haven’t found anything else that works as well. Best oil for sewing machines.

A longer spout would help in applying the oil.

My sewing machine works so much better after using this oil, but I found out the hard way that even if it is closed, the oil will leak out if it falls onto its side.

Some years ago I took a creaky old sewing machine to a repairman for a good cleaning and adjustment. He told me that modern machine oils dont gum up with age the way old ones did. Im hoping that this oil is the modern kind. Since its from Singer, I guess theres a good chance it is. Time will tell, I guess.

This oil is exactly what we needed to restore a 1911 singer cobblers machine that was gunked up after 30 years sitting in a shop. We carefully cleaned all the mechanisms with wd-40, wiped it all off, and oiled with this. The machine works as well as high end leather sewing machines sold today.

perfect, cleaned the action to my singer 66 and cleaned years of neglect and hardened oil allowing me to use the machine again, perfect for restoration and repair of all metal machines.
