After using lower priced, lower quality mics on my drums, I finally saved up and bought these. WOW! The difference is amazing. Toms, snare, bass drum, cymbals, guitar cabinet....all recorded crystal clear. There IS a reason these are the industry standard. Amazing mics!

This set is marketed as a drum mic kit but of course they can be used on anything. The shure sm57 paired with a MD421 is my preferred setup for guitar and 2 sm57 for the top and bottom snare. The beta52 can capture some beefy low end so I use it for inside the kick drum as well as bass amps. Definitely worth the price.

I bought this drum mic package to start on drum recording, as I thought it would be a good way to start. A lot of people will want to buy other packages that have 6 mics and include overheads, but are cheaper and less quality. I personally do not recommend this. I use two of the Shure SM57s as overheads for now, and I will eventually invest in two good quality mics for overheads. These mics are recording standards and will be useful for years to come, and not only for drums. The price on amazon is the also the cheapest price you will find. I recommend this for anyone who wants to start recording drums (or guitars/bass as well) with good quality mics at a great price.

I bought it for my church and it is what I needed... The sound is perfect, and the case is really usefull and beautiful

this kit is great. the b52 is the standard in every world class studio. and the sm57 is the work horse for most every situation. great on the drums but its also great for most everything else. i use the b52 on kicks and on bass amps in my studio. i first got it because every major recording studio uses them and i can see why. there really isnt another option.

This set of microphones is excellent. It totally changed the sound output of my congas and cajon. I really recommend it.
