While waiting 6 weeks for endodontics therapy I was able to manage my pain by applying a prescription fluoride treatment at night, and using this OTC toothpaste twice daily.

After a while of use (7-10 days), my teeth sensitivity stopped. I used very soft tooth brush. I am very happy of that. I recommend.

Great stuff. It seems like this flavor is the only one that works though. Was using a whitening Sensodyne that brought issues back. The right side of my mouth is sensitive, and the dentist wanted to put some type of filling on them to lower sensitivity. I preferred a more conservative option, and this toothpaste always fixes sensitivity in a day or two. Can swish cold water and whatnot in my mouth freely now. A good tip is to not rinse your mouth after brushing. Let the minerals do their work for a bit.

I’ve been using this for a long time, ever since I developed sensitivity issues. As long as I use this, sensitivity is almost completely eliminated. Ice cream still causes aching but it’s also true that brushing with this after eating ice cream does do the trick (not immediately but within ten minutes, the aching does go away). The first time you use it, it feels like it tingles and numbs but like with electric toothbrushes, that sensation doesnt happen with regular use. I used to always get the max strength kind years ago before they expanded their selections and the taste wasn’t great. Their newer options have definitely improved that and added things like whitening and enamel protection. This one, Repair, is my favorite and I always buy them in threes. I don’t know if it’s this toothpaste, my power brush or a combo of the two but I wish I had them years and years ago because whatever damage my teeth have gone through over time, there has been no additional damage since. This toothpaste is definitely contributing to better tooth health and really lives up to elimination of sensitivity.

This is my favorite mineralizing toothpaste, despite being overpriced. One star deducted for being overpriced; another star deducted for side effects. Im not a doctor, but I have discovered that mineralizing toothpastes and mouthwashes can contribute to the formation of salivary stones. Those can be very painful. If you use either product, BE CERTAIN to rinse well enough AND SPIT to prevent the minerals from remaining within your salivary ducts (i.e. beneath your tongue). If they crystalize, those tiny stones can result in swolen salivary glands (i.e. below your jaws, behind your chin) that can be quite painful when you eat, because eating promotes creation of saliva... that then has nowhere to go. OUCH. I now alternate between Sensodyne Repair toothpaste and Hello brand toothpaste (with activated charcoal), and rinse well after either. I have not experienced any salivary stones since adopting those precautionary procedures. Both are good products. I recommend both, as long as those precautionary measures are taken.

Perfect for my sensitive teeth. I would have given it 5 stars, if it werent for the expensive price.
