    I purchased these bundled with the Apogee Groove, and planned on selling these because I already have great headphones,and mainly wanted the Apogee Groove. However, these sounded so wonderful, I couldnt part with them, and for now, Im keeping both. When Ive compared other $200-$400 headphones in the past, the differences have seemed relatively subtle, but with these, instruments just seem more real, and the music sounds more spacious.

    Everything below about 7 khz is detailed and audible. In that range they are the best headphones I have heard. Above that... drastically wrong. Its as if they have a great notch filter between 7-10 khz or so. Tried with a 600 ohm amp, and the 1000 ohm unit on the Roland VS-100.

    All the raving audiophile reviews steered me to these and they are all absolutely correct! Have these paired with a Teac HA-P50-R TEAC Portable Headphone Amplifier and am still going through my music library right now just to hear every detail in songs that I have been missing using lesser headphones. Vocals are crystal clear and you can hear every instrument separately. Bass is exact and perfect. I listen to a lot of vocal trance and was worried about bass but these produce accurate bass...if you like very low extension a cheaper rap artist labeled set would be better. If you love exact music reproduction and beautiful vocals than these are what you need. Get them now and get a solid headphone amp too.
