> 3 dayFantastic headphones. Neutral sound signature with amazing treble with emphasis on vocals. May be my last headphones, or at the very least will stay in my collection.

> 3 dayWhen used with a Dragonfly Red Amplifier the Sennheiser HD 600s sound output is VERY inferior to basic Apple earbuds on my laptop. The music I hear with the earbuds connected to the Dragonfly Red is much more resonant than without the amp. To achieve the same value with the Sennheisers, the volume needs to be increased substantially, so whats the point of spending 360.00 on Sennheiser? Unless Im missing something or these are Counterfeit, the Sennheiser HD 600 headphones are extremely overrated. If you know something I dont, please submit a rebuttal

> 3 dayYou cannot go wrong with these phones. I have had them for probably 15 years and they are still going strong. They are not fancy looking but you will love the sound. One thing I did do which improved them somewhat was to buy a better cable. I dont mean fancy third party cables that typically cost in the neighborhood of $100. Nope, its simple. Buy the HD650 cable. It is heavier, fits the HD600 and improves the sound noticeably. For about $25 and Amazon has them. Check youtube for other comments about these wonderful cans Sever headphone testers use these as their benchmark. I was planning to replace them with something newer until I found out I already owned something better than what I probably would have replaced them with.So instead, I spent my money on something else.

> 3 dayI use Sennheiser closed back for all my live sound gigs, I have about 6 pairs of HD280s for FOH and keyboard rigs. Never have had a problem, and they are old and abused. While theyre good for that, I wanted something I could get a halfway decent mix on that translates well to my home recording monitor setup.

> 3 dayThis is my first open-back headphones I own and I think this will be my last because for me this is the most flat/neutral sounding headphones that Ive used. Neutral because it can be used in all genres and brings out the sound that the producer wants you to hear. The mids and highs are accurate and warm while not too heavy on bass. I gave it a 5 star because it is affordable yet it out performs expensive headphones.
