Greater than one weekJavais des hd-500, rien à voir avec les HD-600. Les 600 ont un son spatial et sans voile. Mon Fiio X5 sonne comme une tonne de briques.

> 3 dayFlat, my ass. they are WARM, kinda muddy with a chance of meatballs i.e. hyped 100-200Hz with top-end rolloff. Im an independent music producer and mix engineer so my perspective is not audiophile or consumer, rather it is representation of what I think the music should sound like. If that sounds biased, it is, biased by a lot of listening, making commercial/pop music, and teching gear for 20+ years.

Greater than one weekSo Ive been in the headphone audiophile game for some years now and have experience with various tube and solid state amps. For comparison, I own(ed) Audeze LCD-X, Senn HD800S, Senn 660S, Hifiman Aryas, Focal Clear, DT1990, DT1770, and a bunch of cans under $250 mark.

> 3 dayI picked these up last Christmas 2017 & overnight they replaced four other pairs of headphones I have! I do prefer the neutral sound signature of these vs other pairs that claim to be studio monitors but in reality arent neutral.

> 3 dayLooks wise, I was a bit concerned about the marble finish but it actually looks pretty good. Build quality wise, I have to agree with some of the other reviewers. Doesnt exactly feel too sturdy but it should be ok as long as you keep it at home. Definitely not as rugged as my HD380 or my Audio Technica ATH-M50. Now for the Sound Quality. Wow! Fantastic detail and clarity. Good sound-stage(not great but good). The mids are excellent. The highs are also excellent and I dont feel that the sound is veiled or that the treble is rolled off (as I read in some other reviews). The overall sound is very natural and the instruments sound realistic. Vocals are silky smooth. The low end is good and doesnt step over any of the frequencies. Since nothing is perfect, if I really must find something to criticize, it would have to be the lowest bass. Not as powerful or as deep as my HD380s(but then again those are closed). I usually end up eqing the bass just a notch but thats a matter of personal preference. Obviously these do need to be amped. They will probably get even better after break-in but right out of the box, I highly recommend them.
