Sennheiser HD 600 - Audiophile Hi-Res Open Back Dynamic Headphone

For me the HD600’s are the best reference monitoring headphones available, perfect within the right ecology, exact and exacting in return. They are a musicians, producers, audio engineers dream cans for editing, mastering and assessing the quality of the feed. Totally neutral across their entire extensive frequency range, a transparent, clear and open sound, brutally honest of every blemish whilst revealing every natural beauty as it unfolds.

Best headphones, or cans, I have ever owned. I used to use Beats studio 2.0’s for the past 5 years for music/gaming. These do not compare.

I have sort of an emotional attachment to these headphones. Ive had them since September 25th, 2011, and I love them/their sound more now than I did back when they were new. I just figured Id finally drop in and say some words about this product.

Dieser Kopfhörer ist bequem und gilt in der audiophilen Szene (wenn das Wort denn überhaupt passend ist) als einer der günstigsten High-End Kopfhörer. Vieles ist zwar aus Kunststoff, dieser ist aber hochwertig und es wurde dafür weniger am Treiber gespart. Anders als der HD650, der nicht nur teurer ist, schneidet dieser außerdem nicht die sehr hohen hörbaren Frequenzen ab und ist sehr neutral. Selbst KH wie HE-500 -- doppelter Preis -- sind nicht unbedingt besser (nur im Bass, aber was ist das schon, jedenfalls keine Musik). Verdient hat er meiner Meinung nach fünf Sterne.

So far this headset is great! Good clear sound when I game and also good for music. You need some kind of amp because the volume in not loud enough I use a audio interface with mine that I can adjust the volume which is around 50-100 more.

I just recently got into audiophile stuff because of a certain YouTuber, and this was one of his recommendations for solid, moderately inexpensive open-backs. And I gotta say, these are great. Well worth the purchase.

The headphones are very good, the sound is detailed, relaxed and being an open design very expansive. The open design does mean anyone else in the environment hears what you are listening to.

I got my hd600 a week ago with that new grey color, and I like it a lot. Its very subtle, mature, and modern.

Der HD 600 von Sennheiser ist ja schon recht lange am Markt. Daraus kann man vielleicht schon seine Qualitäten ableiten. Ich hatte vorher einen HD 650, der aber - warum auch immer - viel zu dumpf klang. Der HD 600 macht ganz viel richtig und ich würde sagen, der gehört zu den neutral abgestimmten Kopfhörern. Der Tragekomfort ist exzellent. Klanglich sieht es so aus, dass die Mitten sehr sauber und breit wiedergegeben werden und die Höhen nie spitz oder schrill wirken.

A pesar de que el sonido es indudablemente muy bueno y equilibrado para trabajar en audio, yo personalmente para escuchar música los encuentro demasiado mate. Le falta brillo de agudos para mi gusto. Hay quien dice que este modelo no padece del famoso velo de Sennheiser (falta de brillo), pero vaya si padece. Lo que pasa es que se le compara con el HD 650 que es aún más oscuro.
