SENNHEISER HD 599 Open Back Headphone, Ivory

These are comfortable. Not like pillows for your head, but they feel good to wear.

For the price, the sound quality is awesome on these. I suggest a DAC with it to get the full experience, but I love them. I went from closed back to these. You can hear everything around you, so in loud spaces these would be annoying, however if that isnt an issue then these are a great pair of head phones. They are also super comfortable, I can wear them all day with no issues.

Perhaps I am picky, perhaps it is my speakers or speaker connections; however, I found the sound quality average for the price. These are also too large for my medium sized head. They do not cup my ears firmly and are lose at the bottom, so the sound is not the best it could be. If I hold my hands over the cups the sound is much better. For these reasons, I plan to return them. They are beautiful, cool looking headphones for someone with good speaker system and who has a larger head.

These are open back, so I never use them outside my home. They sound wonderful and comfortable as hell.

Great sounding headphones from the alway reliable Sennheiser. Using to watch TV, and they dont disappoint. Crystal clear clarity with the volume hovering round the 25 area for majority of media types. Luxuriously comfortable too.

Tout dabord ce casque na pas de micro et de télécommande; cest tout simplement le fait de pouvoir interchanger les cables selon ses besoins; pourquoi 4 étoiles ,eh bien, je trouve tout de même que le casque faisant le 0.285g ( balance professionelle) ,il pèse un peu sur le dessus du crâne du fait quil tire sur les cheveux ,mais bon, cela ne tient quà ce que jai ressenti....même en règlant les oreilles à ma taille. j ai donc dû trouver une solution à cela; jai ajouter une bande de papier bulle plastic sur larceau ,même si celui-ci est entouré de simili cuir.....Maintenant, tout va bien, le confort y est ,sur ce plan là; parlons du son, eh bien ,il y a rien à en dire ,il est parfait; je suis connecté sur cordon optique ,ce qui est très bien ;de plus ,jai changé les oreilles en velours pour la texture en cuir ,ce qui na rien à voir ; celle en velours me chauffaient les oreilles . Javais hésité à retourner le casque ,mais javais trouvé une astuce citée plus haut.

Ce casque, très confortable même pendant plus dune heure, offre une qualité découte exceptionnelle. Le son est dune pureté et dune finesse incroyable à toutes les fréquences. Jai réécouté certains enregistrements de musique classique, avec cette fois-ci limpression très réelle dêtre au milieu de la salle de concert. Les basses sont bien présentes, mais sans excès.

Very happy with my headphones, so comfortable and the sound is amazing. Never had open-back headphones before, worth every cent.
