These headphones are almost perfect in everyway. Bass can be boosted in equalizer if it is too weak for you but thats normal for Sennheisers. These headphones are superior to the GameOne, GSP 500/600 and PC38x. All of which Ive previously owned and used. These can work amazing for gaming or music, I recommend making an equalizer preset for each occasion. Oratory1990 has hd560S equalizer filter settings you can easily look up and apply to your own parametric equalizer. The only flaw with these headphones is a harshness in the 4-6 khz region that can easily fixed using Oratory1990s settings.

It does feel a little cheap with the plastic. But the sound quality blows away and turtle Beach, hyperx, ASTRO, etc gaming headset I have tried. Use with voicemetter for a little added bass enhancement make it perfect! Without going for the higher priced models sacrifice the more sturdy build and get a lightweight great sounding headset

I rarely write reviews for products but I would be doing a disservice for those contemplating buying these. The build quality is ok, nothing to write home about, the headphones are really tight on the jaws for the first 3 hours but get very comfortable after give or take 6 hours. Now about the sound, the sub-bass extension on these in my opinion is excellent gets really down low WHEN its needed, the mid-bass and upper bass might be lacking for bass heads but I found it quite suitable for my tastes. The midrange and the treble are also great had no problems with them, they are forward but not shouty or sibilant, quite smooth actually. The instrument separation and detail are very good which also compliments the phenomenal imaging and is better than average soundstage. Also, these headphones dont require much to drive them but you would not get the best volume with a laptop or phone source, an amp is reccomended.

I normally dont write reviews for things I buy but this one deserves a mention. I was debating between getting these or the slightly more expensive, higher-end Sennheisers to use for my Scarlett 2i2 and boy Im glad I went with the less expensive option. I own a pair of HD 4.40s and I never really liked using them on my PC due to them getting uncomfortable during long gaming sessions, but once I tried my 560s I could go 3 hrs straight and not feel any head chaffing. These for me (small head) are insanely comfortable even during long wear sessions and the padding makes a huge difference (cloth > leather). Sound-wise I normally prefer having a heavier base but overall for PC use I just like the fact I can crank my music up and not blow out my ears using in-ear headphones. I havent tried listening to higher quality files like FLAC but even just listening to MP3 files I can hear the difference between using my 560s vs my Bluetooth headphones (Galaxy Buds). I have yet to really play around with using them together with my Scarlett but overall a great pair of headphones you should pick up when the price drops down.

I remember the first time I listen to Sennheiser open back headphones the HD555 and I remember picking up my jaw from the floor. Open Back headphones are like not wearing headphones and the music is just there floating in the air; it is an surreal experience. Now here the thing, the HD560 are super clear meaning that you can hear all the crackle and noise of a bad mp3. I mean through an iPhone lightning to headphone connector the music is just bearable to listen to.; It is ok if you dont pay much attention to it. Now pipe the same music using Apple Music Lossless and an amp... all of a sudden the bass becomes more solid the music itself become clear as a bell and you become immersed into the music. You really need a FiiO JadeAudio or Q3 or other DAC/Amp/Tubes to make these headphones work. I bought the 560s because it is the best for the value and if you ever need to listen to an open back headphones this is it + a DAC and amp or even Apple TV HD/4K and you are all set.

Comparing these to my reference HD 600 headphones. I feel the 560 has a better deep bass response than the 600.

Great headphones for an incredible price based on other competitor items!

Very disappointing. The HD 560 S headphones are very comfortable but the sound is surprisingly poor, very dull/muted and NOT a natural frequency response as claimed. Especially for the price.
