> 3 dayEDIT: After about a month since they arrived the top of the earpads are really flat and provide no cushioning while the bottom half is still fine. Because of this my ears get squished on the drivers which gets really uncomfortable. Might be able to fix with different pads but I dont know. Possibly will return

Greater than one weekThe excellent sound quality of the Sennheiser HD 560S headphones is just what Ive wanted for listening to music. They provide a wide sound stage; balanced, neutral sound quality with good, tight base; and lively, lifelike musical reproduction without fatiguing my ears. Overall they cannot be beat for their price range, and are also very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. (Though I did subtract one star for comfort because they do clamp my head a little too firmly around my glasses stems behind my ears; however, for just music listening without my glasses on, this has not been a problem). They also perform well when watching movies or Netflix series, though my close-backed Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones do present deeper, more authoritative base (which can be truly impressive in certain scenes). However, the M50x headphones are not as open and natural sounding. They also do not provide as much open space around the ears and the padding on the M50x ear cups and headband is not as comfortable for longer viewing/listening sessions. It should be noted that the Sennheiser HD 560S headphones are corded without any noise cancellation feature. Because they are open-backed headphones, surrounding sounds can be audible to the listener. This is not as issue for me since I use them in a quiet environment.

> 3 dayIm really liking my new HD560s Sennheisers though I have only been listening to them for a half hour. I expect they will last for many years like the HD558 HD600 and HD559 phones that I have as well. I got mine REFURBISHED and saved some money. The one thing that I wanted to mention that nobody seems to make clear in these reviews is YES the same cable is used for the HD560s and the HD559 and the now discontinued HD558 phones. At this time the one company called AUDIO EQUIP sells the Sennheiser Genuine short cable but it doesnt say HD560s, but IT IS the cable that is used in the HD560s phones. Heres a copy/paste*****Sennheiser Genuine Replacement Short Cable HD598 HD598SE HD598SR HD598CS HD599 HD558 HD518 HD579 HD569 HD559 Headphones with 1/8 3.5mm Plug***** I love Sennheiser!

> 3 daySimilar to others you may be reading the reviews of these headphones because they are nearing universal acclaim due to the price:performance. There is unlikely to be a better option that has the consistency and reputation that Sennheiser offers.

> 3 dayClarity is an understatement...I have a big noggin, and it fits just right, at the max adjustment. The velour pads on the ears, and velour pads on the bottom of the head band are pretty comfortable. These are not ath 50s...lol These are flat, but dull in no way.

27-09-2024I had the HD 599 which are very light and comfortable headphones, I could easily forget I was wearing them, and essentially have them on all day. But these 560S constantly squeeze my head (I by no means have a large head), theyre just uncomfortable to wear for any amount of time.
