Got these on sale and love how the headphones fit, feel, and sound, but the cable it comes with has a bulky 6mm tip and bulkier 3.5mm adapter. On top of that, the end going into the headphones has a sennheiser-specific locking 2.5mm that goes into the headphone and makes it very difficult to find a replacement cable.

Wow! I love them. The bass is well balanced, detailed and extends very low. Mids/vocals are a bit forward just like I like. Treble is nice and detailed not harsh or sibilant to me. Excellent imaging and detail . Sound stage is good to.

After a ton of research Ive done before purchasing a new headphone, I finally settle down on this one. Needless to say, the sound quality is impeccable at only $181 after tax. And also you dont need an amp for this. The clamping force was tight on my head at first. But after several days I think Im used to it. Its also very light with only 240g, even though I came from an even lighter headphone Sony 1am2 which is only 187g. I heard the padding is made from velvet so it feels really nice. Overall, I think this product is excellent for listening to music.

They arent noise cancelling. But you should have already figured that out by now -- its actually much more useful (and expensive!) to have open-back headsets if you want to experience sound as if they were coming from a pair of monitor speakers, blending in the room tones.

This headphones are the best 200 dollars, the sound is amazing, the stereo field is fantastic, and details are poring out.

These are midrange audiophile headphones. Very comfortable with the felt like pads around the ears. Fits large heads (>7 1/2). Not for the effects and bass boosting that games use.

Look you don’t need an amp for this headphone. I don’t care what anyone says. I had hooked it up to the ifi hip dac and trust me you don’t need to spend money on an amp for this headphone. This headphone gives you great soundstage and detail. It’s more of an upper mid type of headphone and bass is nice. It has more bass than hifiman 400se. So for movies it’s really amazing! And games too. But for music it will get the job done, but the tuning isn’t really my cup of tea. For some reason I prefer HE 400 SE for music. But trust me, get this headphone for movies and gaming.

The headphones are showing me new elements of songs Ive been listening to for years! My first headphones of this level and its mind blowing how immersing it is. Theyre so comfy and lightweight, too! I feel like I could wear em forever.
