Product is great. A bit expensive, but good for extra storage on your PC or PS5.

So the fastest speed I got out of this was 5,555.1 mbs not even close to the 7,300 mbs that it says. I checked it with my computer and my ps5 both said roughly the same speed. I gotta wonder why its peaking at that number and not around 7,300. I seen others get around 6,800 mbs. It still works great with the ps5 though, whatever speeds its using is fast enough. I dont really see a difference in speed with the firecuda and the built in one so thats good. Im sure the other hardware just cant handle faster speeds

Between the retail price for the 4Tb Seagate Firecuda 530 w/ heatsink being the rough equivalent of buying two PlayStation 5 consoles and the mild scalping that had been occuring for this specific item, I had delayed purchasing this item for months. But after I hesitantly purchased it, I had received it, had installed it in my PlayStation 5, and started downloading games less than 24 hours after I placed the order. I installed almost 100 PlayStation 5 games, with room for a little more. I havent had any problems with it; I would be playing one game without even realizing it was installing another games updates until I get the pop-up notification that the install was finished.

Easy to install, hardest part was loosing the screw in the PS5. System loads faster, i dont have to pick whats downloaded due to limited memory anymore, Id recommend it (tho I got it on a deal for $530) Im not sure if Id say its worth $1000 but if you can get it on sale or dont mind the price its a great add on to your system
