At the current moment I have it hooked up to my xbox to test things out as Im gonna use this monitor for my pc. After going into the settings and fixing the picture a little bit it looks great so far, The speakers that come with the monitor are pretty bad tho but thats about it really.

165 hz, 1 ms, IPS panel?? Am I missing something? Sure it doesnt have G sync but this monitor is still awesome and beats almost all other monitors at this price point. I went up from a 1600x900 20 inch monitor by sceptre, and I am shocked about how much of an improvement IPS is over backlit. Brightness that it was set to on out of box was a bit dark, but it was easy to adjust to my color and lighting preferences. Some users say be weary of dead pixels and bad customer support, so be weary of that , though I havent had to deal with those issues and I am very happy with this purchase.

This display tested to be very responsive with accurate colors and sufficient brightness. The display itself does not seem to be an IPS but closer to a VA display. It has some washout when looking at extremely far angles, but that effect is not noticeable when used normally in front. The display itself is powered by a 12v adapter. Use of the Display Port is required to use the full 165hz. In the image I am playing Half Life (the original) at 165hz. For $179.97 at time of purchase, it well outpaces name brand displays.

Ive only had this hooked up for a couple hours, but Im pretty blown away so far. - No dead pixels. - Up to 165hz refresh rate with DisplayPort (cable included). - Brightness, contrast, and color range are fantastic at default settings. Best Ive ever seen. - FreeSync is an option if you want to give it a try. - The vertical viewing range is excellent. - The horizontal viewing range is decent. One con: I dont like the included tripod mount. Its short, and it has three small points of contact with the desk, so Im buying an aftermarket mount. Luckily the monitor has the four standard screw sockets in the back so it can take an aftermarket mount. Im not letting this take away from a 5-star rating because the value is still very good. Hard to imagine how a monitor could get meaningfully better than this. Best monitor Ive owned, and at under $200 its a steal.

I hardly have any qualms with this monitor. But three things that might be a deal breaker for you. Cons 1) The mount is a bit wobbly even when screwed in tightly 2) Back light bleed 3) Dead pixel(s) so far I only have one dead pixel and it isn’t all that bothersome but if continues to deteriorate I do plan on updating this review. Pros 1) Solid price point 2) Clean minimal bezels 3) 165hz 4) auto shut off feature when not in use (I play PS4) 5) No input lag 6) Image quality is great

Tbh I did not know what to expect from a 144hz monitor under $200. At first i was like,oh a 144hz monitor under 200 shouldnt be that great, but MAN WAS I WRONG. This display is truly the best ive seen in quite a while and also has some great features built inside. The buttons as usual to navigate through the menu but overall not bad.It has 3 HDMI ports up to 144hz and a DP for up to 165 which is honestly pretty impressive if you ask me. With Freesync its pretty cool but for me Im running Nvidia so i cant get that feature. DARN IT. Nah but overall a really good monitor for its price, right now its currently not available for the 24 inch model but if you ever see this monitor for sale again, YOU NEED TO GET IT BECAUSE IT WONT DISAPPOINT YOU NO MATTER WHAT. It also has speakers in the back but theyre k if you ask me wouldnt blow you out of the water but like lets be honest would anyone expect great speakers from a monitor? Cause that would be a whole different story.

I have built my first PC ever. So i have done tons of research. Especially for monitors. After spending hours and hours of looking at monitor I decided to stretch my budget $50 more and go with this. Best decision I have made. The stand is sturdy, built quality seems really premium and colors are great. I have no dead pixel. And it looks really good too! Only negative I can point out is the speaker. Its not loud, doesnt sound that good and its alright. I bought a Razer headset that came with 7.1 surround sound software which really helps the speakers! So I dont even have to buy a extra set of speaker for this. But if you want louder and more base and better sound then its better to buy speakers anyway. Other than that for an average person like me, there is no need. Also monitor resolution can be changed with your motherboard software or any other off brand. But with built in buttons and settings its hard to get the resolution you like. Overall, I love this 5/5

FYI: To get the 144hz dont forget to go into your Settings (you can type in searchbar if you cant find it) >> System >> Display (change to 1920x1080 if for some reason your HDMI/VGA cable isnt auto detecting it) >> Advanced Display Settings >> Display Properties for Display 1 [Display 2 as well If youre running dual monitors]) >> Click Tab Monitor >> Select 144hz and save/ok First Impression: I was a little nervous thinking the 24 might be too small since Ive only used 50+ TVs and more on console gaming. This is my first PC build and did research on what monitor size is the best. From the threads and comments best size is around 24-30 anything bigger than that depends on how far back youre sitting from the screen. Obviously its to each their own, but for me 24 was a perfect fit (sitting at approximately 2ft from the monitor). Everything boxed and packaged appropriately, came with Stand, Screwdriver/Screws, HDMI Cable, Power Cord/Plug and Monitor itself. Details: No dead pixels or scratches, Screen came in brand new condition. Great visuals, colors, and instant change in response time/feel when playing FPS games such as Valorant, CSGO etc. When browsing through Google Chrome/any Internet Source anything White on screen can be a little bright. You may want to lower the brightness down a tad if its too much on the eyes. I also wasnt expecting an FPS change but, It did slightly go up.! Win win! 1ms , I dont feel any input lag what so ever. Smooth as Butter. Timing and Game play has been magnificent! Hence, i was gaming on an old 720p 32 TV lol... Im all in all very happy with this purchase, Will consider running Dual Monitors in the future!

There’s not a whole lot to say about Sceptre’s monitors so far besides the fact that they’re great for value, and I have not been disappointed by them yet. This monitor in particular surprised me, as most monitors at 144hz refresh rates often go for a much heftier price, let alone one thats 165hz over DisplayPort. I am not a professional photo or video editor, but from face value the monitor has great color replication, contrast, and offers an overal great viewing experience. One minor gripe I always have about monitors is their use of those bulky, large AC wall adapters, but this one has a few nice QoL upgrades that make it less frustrating to use. Overall I am very pleased with the monitor.
