This is a great monitor if you set expectations based on its price. I purchased this to replace a 10 year old Samsung monitor, and Im completely satisfied. Im using this screen with a laptop for school work and some gaming and Im planning on buy a second one once its in stock again. I didnt realize it supported freesync until I got it, price was my main purchase motivator. I guess the freesync feature is nice, and I got lucky since I have an AMD card that supports it. It seems that the design has changed though, the photos of the inputs are not what I got. Same inputs, but theyre not rear facing, theyre facing downward. I would have preferred rear facing inputs. To properly cable manage the HDMI cord with out it being seen I felt like I had to bend it too close to the connector. Potential buys be aware of that, Ive actually never seen IO on a monitor that faces downward.

That frickin blinking blue light. I made the mistake of getting this for my office, which also happens to be in my bedroom. When the computer its connected to has been idle for some period of time, the monitor starts blinking this unbelievably bright blue light that can only be disabled by unplugging the monitor from the wall. Maddening! I did find a partial fix - in the settings, you can make it so the blue light stops blinking after 30 minutes - but no less. So if you use it before bed, you need to unplug it from the wall, or wait the 30 minutes. All this to say, dont get this monitor if youre going to be sleeping in the same room (unless you love blinking blue lights ya frickin weirdo)

Pretty standard budget gaming monitor. I originally purchased this to replace a failed Acer monitor, and it performed well. The only complaints that I have is that the backlight is noticeably dim, even after making the necessary adjustments through the easy to modify settings. This dimness is readily apparent when used in a multi-monitor setup. Ive since replaced this unit on my main rig, but continue to use it in my hardware lab, where it performs adequately, and the dimness is not a factor.

Everything except the speakers was good. Very easy to set up. Wish the buttons were a little more clear on the back of the screen.

... and its still possible I might, if it fails. However, so far, this monitor is really surpassing my expectations. Its bright, its clear, its 1920x1080 at 75Hz. The speakers work; not loud, minimal bass. Kinda like an old 9 inch tv. If I want to damage my hearing, I put on the headphones at max volume. I did a dead pixel check. At one point I thought -there it IS! - but nope, it was a just tiny spec of dust on the screen that wiped right off. Within the next 29 days of the return period something might go wrong but so far for $109 + the state government grab, this is a great monitor. As an aside, the monitors default sound level is set at 50%, you might want to put it up to 100% and control the volume from your software since, of course, there is no remote control. Also, if you have an AMD graphics card with FreeSync this monitor claims to support it. It doesnt support nVidia G-Sync.

Just got the monitor today, turned it on and it’s a line going down the screen that I can’t get rid of. Need a refund or exchange it for a new one

I bought one of these for the home PC in the kitchen which I share with my wife. She plays some games, but I use it as a monitor-only. I was so impressed I bought a second for my home-office. I had 3 monitors already, but I swapped one out for the Sceptre . I can connect a 2nd PC and I can switch from one to the other with the push of a button. Worth every penny!

I bought 3 of these for my at home job as my old set up was giving me a headahce (different screens mix matched, different resolutions, sizes, etc). set the blue light filter on these and set the brightness and its comfortable to work at my desk all day now (as far as monitors go)

I wasnt looking for anything fancy---just a larger monitor so I can work from home 1 day a week. This came with its own HDMI cable, it was very easy to hook up. The display is excellent the size was perfect! The picture transfers very well from my laptop to the monitor w/o any special sizing needing to be done.

The product is multiple voltage compatible, that voltage arrange is 100-240V
