SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable External SSD - Up to 550MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE60-1T00-G25

With a 256GB hard drive on my laptop, theres just not enough room for all the files, photos, music, etc that I have, something like this little drive is necessary. Its fast, small, and durable. I clip it to my laptop bag and take it with me where ever I work. I had been using a portable external hard drive, but it much larger and not as portable as this SSD. So now that hard drive can be used as a backup I leave at home.

It’s super fast with the data transfer. The size is very portable.

A lo importante: he probado este dispositivo con un MacBook Pro 13 pulgadas 4 puertos Thunderbolt 3, con el cable original que incluye... y no reconoce el dispositivo como USB 3.1 Gen 2, con los 10Gb/s de transferencia máxima que se espera, sino un dispositivo Gen 1 a 5Gb/s... Y esto es lo que creo que hace que mis lecturas, de media, sean más bajas que el resto de usuarios. He contactado al soporte de Sandisk (WD), y estoy a la espera de respuestas antes de hacer una devolución. Entiendo que una velocidad de lectura máxima de 420Mb/s dista mucho de los 550Mb/s anunciados.. ya que otros usuarios no presentan esta anomalía con sus unidades.

Got the 1tb as a lightning deal for under $200. This thing is great to have when you need to dump files. Its fast and durable and worth the purchase but only at around the $200 mark in my opinion. Its hard to find a terabyte SSD for under $200 bucks. Its SUPER light, I like the hole in the design of the casing. You could use a carabiner to connect to it for fast access. Overall I like it and its a good SSD if you need it.

Worst product ever I got

I bought this drive to backup my macbook pro which is running now mojave; it doesnt support APFS; it only support HFS. I also bought a samsung T5 and was able to format to APFS to the contrary of the sandisk. So it is definitely not a good disk for mac system

Helps store and keeps my travel photos and videos organized. Its sturdy and rugged I dropped it by accident and it works when I connected to my laptop. I havent got it wet yet so not sure if it works not trying to get it wet either but good to know that its water resistant if it does get wet.

This product was much smaller than I expected! I was used to a SeaGate external hard drive that was much bigger with less capacity and this beautiful device has allowed me to load a sizeable Steam library onto a drive that I can plug into my MacBook Pro for bootcamp and then leave anywhere else when I need to be productive. Amazing. I may buy more if I want to download my ENTIRE Steam library or to manage my GoPro footage in the future.

Très bon appareil. Petit et léger. Facile à caser (et peut-être à perdre ou égarer). Je comprend pourquoi il était conseillé dacheter la boîte étui de protection. La sauvegarde des données est très rapide.
