Greater than one weekIve been using an iPad since it was first released back in 2010. I use it to capture photos and screenscap interesting articles - basically using it as a knowledge store. Over the years, Ive upgraded every other version and my trove of photos keep growing. iCloud do take care of the backup, but Ive always wanted to offload files in order to reduce iCloud fees.

> 3 dayThis is just an all around incredible product. I do web development, design, photography, and some video as well—it’s has fast transfer speeds using the included cable to my 2017 MacBook Pro. It’s in a metal enclosure with plastic on the ends. Was lighter than I thought it would be, but that isn’t a bad thing at all. Gets just a little warm to the touch if you are transferring data after 20 minutes or so, which is normal. Solid and dependable.

Greater than one weekSo far, so good (two weeks of usage). Its fast enough for me to have installed Mac OS 10.14.3 Mojave on it and run my laptop on it. This allows me to keep MacOS 10.13 latest version on the built-in SSD on my MacBook Air. This way, I get to abuse Mojave for the next several weeks, and be able to revert to 10.13 on the internal SSD, in case I encounter an issue with the Samsung external SSD or Mojave itself. Extremely convenient.

Greater than one weekThe T5s are used strictly for storage of fotos, movies, and articles I find important to my interests. Use mostly with MacBooks. An old revived 2012 MBP (with USBA to USB C cable,) and the brand new (for me ) MBP M1 16 (with the USBC toC) I would use a lot of caution with the iPads and Phones, as the required dongle seems fussy about powering down and unplugging. Lost some fotos once doing that. One last thing: Samsung offers optional password protected service. DO NOT FORGET THE PASSWORD!

> 3 daySo far its worked worked easily with my Galaxy Note 9. I had so much to transfer and it worked fairly fast. Its small and compact. Cant say anything bad about it. Came with a nice pouch as well.

> 3 dayConstantly disconnects when connected to an iMac. I connect it, it works, I walk away and come back the next day - it is not mounted, requiring unplugging and replugging to function again. I have a Sandisk SSD connected to the same iMac and it works well and never does this.

> 3 dayIf you have Win 10. Dont get this. It does not link with the system and only shows 45 GB as the max on board. Any other time you have to use a password but shows the max avail but that is it. Boring and worthless.
