Encryption problem resolved. However, even when I eject the drive - via the right-click, eject command, when I reconnect, Im advised that the drive was not disconnected properly. Additionally, the software that accompanies the drive does not respect the command-Q (quit) key combination. Ill reserve further comment until such time that Samsung updates the software to: 1) recognize when I actually eject the drive, and 2) honor the command-Q key combo to quit the software application.
