Expired software! Keeps disconnecting/ ejecting itself. I have a MacBook Pro and I tried downloading the software from the website but that crashes too. I got this at the same time I got a new segate SSD--which works just fine. Really disappointed since it got pretty great reviews.

I got this to use in my Model S and am happy with this so far. Ive had other portable hard drives that didnt work and failed, but also ones where the cords didnt quite work either..

Using exFAT on a Mac and with PCs, man - Im getting 500 Mb/sec performance. I love the size and the speed. Thank goodness this is USB-C. I got one for my wifes photography work too.

Very fast. Still 4 times more expensive than the traditionals

Ive had this drive for a few months now. Its replacing a portable spinning disk drive. The speed difference is enormous, even more than the numbers would suggest. Definitely recommended for any use case where speed matters at all. My only nitpick is that the cable was a little awkward sticking out of a laptop, so I got a right-angle 6 USB-C cable for it, which helped a bit.

I have 2 T5, 2Tb drives attached to my iMac. One used for b/u and one used for movies, music and photos. They are fast and reliable. They are both attached to the frame of my iMac with velcro tape.

Bought this to add increased network storage to my router. Was able to format it accordingly and, viola- done! 1TB of network storage ready to go!

Jai acheté cet outil pour pouvoir transférer des fichiers de mon iMac à mon iPad Pro sans devoir passer par des applications dédiées. Je suis contente du produit même si je trouve que cest un peu lent. Peut-être cest parce quil est neuf et quil va retrouver sa vitesse de croisière à lusure. Disons que si je compare avec une clé USB double connecteurs USB A @ USB C, la clé USB est beaucoup plus rapide que le SDD. Reste que ça fait bien le travail auquel je mattendais. Et il est tellement petit quil se manipule bien et se range bien. Bref, je rachèterais encore (si jen avais besoin)

Unit came password protected, nothing will allow a bypass. Never had this problem with samsung before

Device works great, but reformat and use OS native encryption and password protection instead, the Samsung software on my T1 stopped working after a MacOS update and never worked again, data was permanently lost.
