> 3 dayI wanted some additional adopted storage. I tried a couple of external USB hard disk drives, but it would take FOREVER to boot up and accessing apps/games was noticeably slower. After hooking up the T5, its a world of difference, no lag at all.

> 3 dayThe developer ID Application certificate is expired and expired on 9/27/2019. The box that it came in states the production date is 2020 0413. My computer warned me that the package was signed with a certificate that is expired and if I acquired the package recently, it may not be authentic. I do not trust this product. Im returning the item.

> 3 dayI got the Samsung T5 SSD 2TB for my Mac Pro tower. At first it was fine. They, every few days it would randomly start disconnecting or ejecting while copying files. The problem is that it would not mount after that. This required reformatting the drive each time. Disk Utility along with Disk Warrior both report hardware failure issues. But those warnings to away once the drive is reformatted (extended, journaled) again. Then, a few days later, it would eject while copying and not mount again - thus requiring another reformat and erasing everything on the drive. Im using Mavericks (not High Sierra). I reformat and she works again... until the next time...

> 3 dayThis external drive is amazing. I wanted something I could add to my nvidia shield to watch movies locally using my Plex server. Ive tried other hard drives and flash drives but i have never been satisfied. This drive is about the size of a credit card. When I did a bench test, it was almost as fast as my laptops internal SSD. If you need a fast SSD drive and will to spend the money, you wont be disappointed.

> 3 dayDon’t sleep on SSDs if you’re a content creator of anyone who needs fast transfer speeds. This thing is lighting speed when transferring files from my camera to its memory. I work from this device while editing videos on FCPx, Lightroom and Photoshop and those programs are now running faster and smoother. When I start a new project and I upload my files from the drive into one of these programs it transfers significantly faster than on a HDD.

> 3 dayFirst drive delivered was defective. Returned to Amazon and received a replacement with no problems. This one works great with my new Dell laptop and thunderbolt connection. Very fast. Surprisingly small size. Will store my photos and documents on it. Hope it lasts a long time in view of high cost.
