> 3 dayThis drive is pretty good. Get a bit hot when writing large files, but I have it on a granite benchtop and it stays cool.

> 3 dayProduct reliability is terrible. Product was only used as a back-up drive. Even tried to reformat to get it to work and that didnt help! I should have stuck with my WD external drive. Had it for years and never a problem. I wanted new technology and I paid the price!

> 3 daySamsung seems to have a lock on the portable SSD drives. The price and speed cant be beat. The reviews didnt lie!

Greater than one weekI use one of these drives every day, and if you dont mind its limited 500mbps nominal capability, this drive may seem nice for the stated price. When you check out its competition in the OWC Envoy Pro 1Tb (yes costs a bit more) with 2800mbps nominal capability, then you realize - with the Samsung you are still in the slow lane.

> 3 dayThe drive comes with software for IOS and PC. I haven’t used the software since I don’t need password protection. In the package is the solid state drive and two 18” cables. One has the newer USB connector on both ends and the other has the older USB connector on one end.
