> 3 dayUse this and an older version with less capacity for my Dish DVR. Works great, even though Dish says only to use hard drives vice flash memory.

> 3 dayI purchased this to replace my backup drive to my old 2015 13 MacBook Pro. It works flawlessly and its super fast. My old backup drive was a WD HDD and having a SSD just brought new life to my work process with my antique MacBook Pro. Now I just need an affordable 5 Gig external SSD to replace my Xbox One X external HDD.

> 3 dayThis is what external storage should be. Works great for W10 or Ubuntu and is much faster than a USB drive. I will most likely purchase 2 more: one for my MacBook and the other as a dedicated BU drive more my W10 and Linux machines.

> 3 dayI shopped around before picking this one. While 2TB isnt ground breaking anymore, its STILL a ton of storage. I needed something to back up all my data but didnt want anything clunky and no mechanical parts but still be rugged. The case is finished nice aluminum and the color (I picked blue) was something different. Its just a wee bit bigger than a credit card but doesnt feel dainty. Read and write speeds are REALLY fast. I also love the security of this drive. If its ever misplaced or stolen, its almost impossible for the everyday user to crack the password. I tested a few apps to see how easy it would be and was not successful.

> 3 daySSD continues to work fine, but was leaking white waxy material after 1 year of use. Some searches online revealed that the case has an encapsulated Phase Change Material (ePCM) and it likely leaked while under heavy load. There are YouTube videos and Reddit posts of similar experiences. Still works fine, though its concerning. A fast drive and I still generally recommend it; ordered a 2TB version, will focus more on cooling as I request warranty service.
