    Greater than one week

    Had a small hdd I bought about 5 years ago and this one puts it to shame as far as transfer speeds. Hooked to a MacBook Air this one transfers 1gb in no time. Once I got the MacBooks hd cleaned out some it would transfer even quicker.

    Supposed to be around 1000 mb/s but my max is 325 using both both the provided cables. Others in forums seem to encounter the same problem with T5 and T7.

    Bought this to supplement storage capacity for my laptop, fast enough to run games directly from it. I was not dissapointed. While not as fast as my on-board nmve ssd, it is faster than hdd and I can run games from it with minimal load times. A little pricy, so I bought it on special, but worth it.

    I caution anyone from buying this from Amazon. Mine came in an Amazon padded envelope and the Samsung Box was partially crushed. The unit works fine, but the shipping shock could have issues later. Im returning mine.

    I have a Samsung laptop that is now 10 years old and Im worried it could die at any day. It works fine but I notice that now when it goes to sleep the ON button takes several tries before restarting or waking up the computer. With the price of computers so high due to COVID-19, I dont want to buy a new computer just yet. Not only that but this laptop has alot of power and memory even among todays computers. By using this external drive for all my storage, I dont have to worry about losing all my files in the event that my computer dies someday. The transition is very smooth. I had partitioned my computer already for my executable files and my user files so this external drive is just another partition as far a Im concerned and the speed is great.

    Was wanting an external SSD that was fast and this is it. Im sure there are faster but this is way faster than a jump drive. Very compact and doesnt feel cheap. Super happy with this drive.

    this drive simply works exactly as its supposed to. you plugin then you eject when you dont need it. unlike literally every other dive out there which always refuse to eject. Companies like SEAGATE or WESTERN DIGITAL are complete jokes, absolutely pathetic companies. its 2021 and their drives still refuse to eject it honesly bothers me that those companies are still running. they should all join the fastfood service industry.
