It does not let you play Xbox Series X or series S games off the hard Drive it will just let you store them on it and you will have to re download them to the Xbox

This card works fantastic with PlayStation 5!! You can play all PS4 games directly from the harddrive! Gives a little symbol under the game in main menu, so you know the game data is stored in hard drive, but still shows the game on main menu. (See my pics)

I purchased this to replace my backup drive to my old 2015 13 MacBook Pro. It works flawlessly and its super fast. My old backup drive was a WD HDD and having a SSD just brought new life to my work process with my antique MacBook Pro. Now I just need an affordable 5 Gig external SSD to replace my Xbox One X external HDD.

My unit works flawlessly. It never gets hot. If yours gets hot, then its likely defective and should be exchanged. I use this for time machine, and it never misses a beat.

Using as time machine backup. Works like a charm.

Do not buy, write speed have slowed to a crawl. Issue is well documented so quick Google search before you’re tempted to waste your time.

This drive is really fast and compact. Credit card sized SSD and it fits perfectly to my pocket. I did buy 4 of this same drive 2TB each. The body is made of aluminium and I cant feel it is hot while I am using to watch my videos stored in it. Yes you can edit videos using this drive and it is not supposed to disconnect. I use the drive with my MacBook pro USB-C ports. Just a reminder the speed of the drive WR can be limited by the USD connection you may have.

I use this to copy and transfer huge multitrack audio files between workstations. This is my second unit in less than a month. No issues with either thus far.
