This drive was used to back up my files before purposefully erasing my hard drive. The capacity was much more than adequate.

It doesnt work. I spent hours and days YouTubing, downloading the Samsung ssdt7 app and it keeps saying its disconnected when its not! Frustrating! The YouTube makes it look so easy but I believe its a defect. I should have the reviews on samsung where many had the same problems.

I use this SSD for my Xbox Series S storage. It doesnt take advantage of the extremely fast speeds with an Xbox but still reads and writes around 2.1gbps to 2.3gbps on Series S. It takes me about 5 minutes to move 100gb. Some Series X/S optimized games can be played off this drive but most have to be moved to the internal Xbox drive.

Works like a charm. Old hard drive when out got this to replace it. Backup two computers with it. It is plugged in to the iMac and uses time machine to keep thinks backed up.

Yeah, so I did a read/write test on an M1 Mac. I copied 5gb of 1080p video that I encoded at 60FPS to the brand new drive, and it was done copying in under 10 seconds. I cant speak to the longevity of this product (because I just got it) but its not slow. If you have modern USB connectors on your machine it really does write at 500-1000mb/s. It also does come with a USB type-A connector in addition to a type-C connector.

Smaller than expected. Its not heated too much, although worked for hours while writing 100K files. Doesnt achieve nominal speed when writing numerous small sized files.

I havent used it much yet other than dividing it into separate drives in order to try out different Operating systems. I am certain it will be satisfactory for that or any other purpose I may choose to use it for. I like its small size!

Excelente produto esse SSD Samsung T7, comprei para jogar alguns jogos que demoram a carregar no PS4; Red Dead2, A.Creeds, GTA , e o PS4 virou outro console carregando em um tempo menor com absurda diferença do HDD. Comprei o de 500gb pelo preço e não queria arriscar, mas comprarei um Samsung T7 maior porque compensa e funciona no PS4 Slim. Comprem o Samsung T7.

Havent had any issues with the unit. Its sleek and fast, takes a beating and is affordable.

I now have 3 of these which I use for music production (Logic Pro). I keep all my VSTs and projects on them and record to them exclusively too. I don’t even use my computer internal drive. They’re fast, never eject or choke and have served me well for a couple years now. Wish they capacity was higher, but what can ya do. Great drives!
