> 24 hourI would recommend this drive for a system in need of some speed. It boots up quickly and seems to handle applications well also.

> 24 hourThis Samsung drive is fast, I have several others and while the older Crucial M500 I have gives this drive a run for its money it is lacking the features offered by Samsung. The cloning process using Samsungs data migration tool was straight forward and easy to use. Then they have their magician software that not only monitors this drive but allows for you to put it in rapid mode which greatly increases the first read and write speeds to this drive, as you can see Im getting 3.65 Gbps read and 2.89 Gbps write not Mbps but Gbps. I always avoided buying the Samsung drives because of price but after seeing what they can do I see why they are more than other drives and they are worth it. This drive is being used in an older HP Probook 4540s.

> 24 hourIf you tried other drive, then U will realize samsung v-nand had the most stable performance. Even EVO is the base level in SSD (TLC) the random read/ write speed better than other SSD

> 24 hourThis is my preferred SSD, fast and trustworthy. Been building PCs for 12 years, this is my golden standard. Although I haven’t tried NVie SSD, I don’t know the name but they are Pcie SSD and I will give them a try when I upgrade once more.

> 24 hourSuper fast. Put this in my 27 inch iMac. Upgraded from a fusion drive. What an upgrade. If you get this for your iMac make sure you get a thermal sensor

> 24 hourReplaced a laptop hard drive that had gone bad for my grandson-in-law. Easy to install even on his HP. I had to reinstall all programs since the original disk was not working and had no backup. It took Microsoft many, many updates to bring it up to current Windows 7 level. It now runs like a scared rabbit.

> 24 hourSSDs are expensive. Everybody with half a brain knows that. With that out of the way, since thats the biggest con, lets focus on the important stuff. Yes this is more expensive than other brands like ADATA and even PNY. Having tested both, I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that this drive got higher crystal mark scores consistently. And this drive stays very cool in my rig, which is an open case chassis with passive cooling on all the storage. It performs well in games, is extremely stable, and a terabyte is a terabyte. In my case, 1tb is pretty small so I have multiple drives for different purposes. I prefer this as my boot drive even over my NVME as this one stays cooler and honestly boots faster. Honestly, thats about it. This was extremely expensive when I got it, and is cheaper now. Which is fine, this thing has definitely paid for itself and shown fantastic longevity so far. If youre a fan of Samsungs workmanship, this late model will definitely impress you.

> 24 hourI had purchased two of these drives to use in a RAID 1 configuration in my Dell T5600 with a PERC 710 RAID controller. After initializing the drives, I found they would not make a RAID 1 boot drive. Since the 2 TB Samsung drive is a slightly different size than my existing 2 TB WD hard drives, I could not use the rebuild function. So, I tried to make a drive that had a bootable copy of my existing drives in their RAID 1 configuration. Then I figured I would put that drive in the PC, and put the other Samsung drive in and then let the first drive rebuild the second drive. But, since it is not possible to create the first bootable copy, that was not possible. I called Samsung and their response was that they do not support RAID.

> 24 hourI believe this being the 5th purchased... well worth the investments. Desktops & laptops are now running 2x-3x as fast extending the life of the devices (Running cooler), providing noticeably faster startup ... OS and internet connection. Did the research... set research to the side (Due to work... family...).... and months later.... additional research confirmed that updating drives would be extremely beneficial ... and months later... a 5th purchase and upgrade.
