Greater than one weekThis is my first SSD and I cannot believe how fast my laptop has become. I had already upgraded the cpu, and doubled the memory only to be very underwhelmed by the minimal improvement. Installing this has truly made my machine zip! it now boots up in twenty seconds, shuts down in less than five seconds, and launches apps as if they were already running. There are less expensive brands available, but I wanted to go with a proven leader and I recommend this unit highly.

> 3 dayThe SSD is in a dock that sits under my Mac mini. I use it for my Time Machine backup. It works flawlessly and I rarely even think about it being there. This is just one of several Samsung SSDs that Ive purchased for various purposes. Ive never had a moments trouble with any of them.

Greater than one weekI used the Samsung software along with a usb data cable to copy my previous drive over to this Samsung. It installed only in a matter of minutes once the copying was completed between the drivers. My computer boots up so much faster than when it had a traditional hard drive in it. If you are on the fence about spending the money, particularly if you have had your computer for a while, dont even question it. Just do it! I can honestly say its the best upgrade I have done to any of my computers in a long time. I am so happy with the results so far.

> 3 dayBought a StarTech.com USB 3.0 to 2.5” SATA III Hard Drive Adapter Cable so I could migrate old hard drive. Worked perfectly once I figured out where to download Samsungs migration app (there are two similar-sounding apps, only one is for migration). Fit my Acer netbook perfectly.
