This is a heavy tablet. Appears to be well constructed. Using Smartswitch I moved the pics, videos and documents from my old tablet and from its SD Card. Still trying to inventory what got moved and where it went. Dont try to include Apps, Homescreen and Settings or Smartswitch doesnt run.

I bought this for college and I couldnt imagine life without it! The screen however will scratch by a gust of windows so I highly recommend getting a screen protector and case, though I went with the Samsung magnetic case and keyboard, though its a bit pricey, in my opinion its worth it! Not even mentioning the battery life, which has lasted me multiple days without a charge!

I upgraded to this tablet from my old, original Galaxy Tab S. In the photo, my old Galaxy Tab S is in the front, and the new Galaxy Tab S7 is in the back. Im an iPhone person but for tablets I like Android. Take my review for what its worth based on that perspective. The good: This tablet has probably 2-1/2 times the battery life of my old Tab S. The battery life is amazing. Love it. Cant wait for some post-COVID travel, where this thing will truly shine. And the Samsung DEX feature, which wasnt an option on my old tablet, is pretty cool. I see that as a potential game changer for business travelers, especially the Samsung phones with DEX, as it can enable folks to leave their computers and tablets at home, especially if they use a remote desktop application to reach their PCs for when they need greater processing power. That feature alone has me considering a switch to Samsung for my phone, after being with the Apple iPhone since 2008. The S pen is cool both from a business perspective (signing documents) and from a creative perspective (art apps). The on board storage is greater, as well as the capacity limits for the micro SD card. The bad: If, like me, you are expecting a massive improvement in the screen resolution or the way it plays videos or applications over an older device like the Tab S, well...its not there. I see no change at all in the appearance of the screen (note that I do have the Tab S7, not the Tab S7+ which does have a better screen) and I also dont perceive any real difference in performance. Under the hood, I know that its a better performing machine, but its not something I perceive when using it for my normal uses. Maybe thats really something positive about the old Tab S as opposed to a negative on the Tab S7. One disappointment I do have is the optional keyboard. One, I detest kickstands. For the price, this thing should have an adjustable hinged connection, making it look more like a laptop. Two- boring aesthetics. No colors available. Again, this is a pricy keyboard, youd think theyd put more thought into making it look good. As far as performance goes, the keyboard works great. I did a ton of research before I bought this tablet, primarily comparing it to the iPad and the Microsoft Surface. I absolutely believe this is the best tablet out on the market today (December 2020)- Ive been using it since mid-October and have had no reason to regret my decision to purchase.

Im two months into using the 256gb/8gb ram version and its been great. I already have a laptop, so I just wanted something portable for streaming shows/movies, reading and websurfing. If you already have the latest Samsung phone (S20 and up), its basically the same product in terms of usability and apps (a lot of negative reviews claimed some apps dont scale nicely on the tablet but I have yet to encounter one).

I swear Samsung has these designed to self destruct as soon as they are paid off. To the month, the charge port is failing for no reason, and apps are running slower. Just stop with updates that ruin products. Might be my last Samsung purchase. Trying to type fast as battery is at 8%

I love this tablet. I love having a big screen. It really could replace anything besides a gaming computer. However, the pen is a nightmare. From the second I got the tablet my pen kept falling off. Now Ive lost it completely. Ive had it only around a month which is disappointing. The price to replace it is ridiculous on Amazon vrs going straight to Samsung store. Maybe my pen or the magnet on my tablet is defective but its seriously annoying.
