> 3 dayJust buy from Local stores like Best Buy. I don’t know much about these chips but I opened up one, started installing it, and noticed the label looked different. Box says Samsung 980 1Tb, Label said 980 Evo but didn’t see Samsung on it. I thought it was odd, but continued installing Windows to it and did just fine. Started installing programs then it just went from 350 mb transfers to 10mb/s then to 300kb and said it would take more than a day to install a program.Yeah that’s not right, supposed to be faster. Blue Screen popped up. I opened up the other 7 SSDs…only 1 had Samsung on it. I don’t know what this is but I am just returning them and picking up some from Best Buy once my refund comes back. I couldn’t find anything from Samsung on these 980 Evo’s.

Greater than one weekOnce installed and downloaded the samsung software works fantastic. A problem I had installing the ssd was no screw to hold the ssd because Samsung did not include screw. The solution was a video on youtube that said motherboards have the m2 screw built in so me and my brother unscrewed the screw and used that for the Samsung 980. No need to buy a spare screw if your motherboard has the screw located by the m.2 slot.
