This was a replacement in my laptop, so if you are comfortable with a screwdriver and take precautions with ESD, I feel confident a noob computer builder could accomplish this task. So far this drive worked as advertised and I did not see any performance issues. This drive has been a solid performer and I would have no issues purchasing another samsung device of this type.

Greater than one weekVery Fast SSD. I definitely would recommend. Check the data sheet from Samsung. I think this is better than the Samsung 980pro
