> 3 dayI gave 4 stars only because I ordered w/heatsink and it doesn’t fit under my laptop access cover. Consider when buying because if I had known the heatsink was going be an issue being too bulky/tall I would’ve ordered without. I’m concerned over time the plastic cover will warp or melt pressed against the heatsink. Other than that it’s lightning fast and scored high on Tom’s Hardware. It puts out some heat but I bought a laptop cooler to mitigate any overheating issues. You can never go wrong with Samsung quality products and I highly recommend as an alternative to the more expensive 990 Pro.

Greater than one weekI got the 1TB model on sale and it works amazingly well. I heard the 2TB models might have problems, so make sure to do your research before buying and make sure the product number is the right one, or just go with 1TB like I did and you will have 0 worries, but what you will have is blazing fast nvme ssd storage perfect for gaming with RTX on

> 3 dayThis was super easy to install in my PS5. The only trick was sliding the cover off the PS5, which I watched a video to make sure I pulled in the correct direction to make sure I didnt break any tabs or anything. Other than that, its one screw to open the very obvious expansion port cover, then you pop the stick in and move another screw to hold it in place. Sony clearly intends for people to make this one simple surgery on their system; everything else is hidden from view behind other panels. When I turned the PS5 on, it recognized and formatted the new hard drive, and it had 1.01TB storage on it.

> 3 dayDesempaña la misma velocidad que dice el fabricante, carga super rapido todos mis juegos y aplicaciones. tiene mejoras en comparacion al evo 970 pro, lo unico que no me gusto es que es de 500Gb es 12Gb menos que el 970 pro de la version anterior

> 3 dayWeve had the pleasure of using the SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe, and were impressed with its fast performance. As a swap drive for video editing and temporary folder for numerous files, this drive has exceeded our expectations, enabling us to work more efficiently. Were grateful for the improved workflow and productivity it has brought us, and we believe its an excellent choice for anyone seeking a reliable and high-performance NVMe.

Greater than one weekUnfortunately did not fit my nephews laptop but I wouldve loved to have something like this for myself. We ultimately ordered the one without a heatsink. Windows made it very difficult to install this due to Bitlocker and other just pathetic, inconvenient standards. Absolutely nothing worked, not the keys, not the restores, not the backups, not the alternative boots. EVEN AFTER WIPING THE HARD DRIVE and putting a fresh OS on it, it refused to boot from anything other than the original hard drive. Eventually I found some work-arounds after an exhausting couple of days attempting absolutely everything I learned during my A+ certification... Works like a charm.
