> 3 dayIts a great purchase for the price, it works great in my PS5 and havent had any problems since i got it. But i do recommend only installing PS5 games on it and getting an external HDD for the PS4 games, itll last longer that way.

> 3 dayDid a bit of research on which SSD was a good fit for me in order to upgrade the memory in my PS5. This met all the needs was super easy to install and transfers info back and forth with the systems memory very quickly.

> 3 dayI use this as my main boot drive in my gaming PC and its excellent. Any disk operations are super fast, even using PCIe Gen 3. Samsung SSDs have always been very reliable for me and this has been no exception so far.

> 3 dayThe one I got from Amazon last month already had the latest firmware installed. If you are putting it in PS5, if you are seeing more than 6,000 MB/sec in the speed test you are good, you got latest FW. If you are seeing least than 6,000, you need to update, which can be done with an external Thunderbolt enclosure (not USB-C) if you dont have a desktop.

> 3 dayWorks exactly as described, fast shipping, easy installation. Though I highly recommend watching a how to tutorial before attempting to install this. With that said, I had no issues. And I highly recommend

Greater than one weekThe SSD works great. As I said on title the read speed, according to the PS5, is in the 5500MB/s so it is good enough but nowhere near the advertised 7000MB/s. Maybe that speed can be achieved on a PC? Who knows but it works fine. Combined with a heatsink now my PS5 has triple the storage capacity!

23-09-2024Installed on my PS5. The heat sink thing confused me but I bought the 2T one with heat sink and it’s all one piece I think. I just plugged in and followed YouTube instructions and have had zero problems. Recognized immediately as Soon as I turned on my ps5. Moved 80% of my games over. Took just a few minutes. I haven’t had it long, but I don’t foresee any problems. Exactly as expected and working well. No problems do far.

Greater than one weekWhats not to like about a 980 Pro with a Samsung-made heatsink? Turns out its not very laptop friendly. Make sure you have a ton of space if you wanna put this beast in your laptop. I hear PS5 users love them though
