Greater than one weekI had originally gone with a WD Black 850X for my PS5 since it has such great reviews. Unfortunately, I either got a dud or my PS5 just wasnt compatible with it. I had tried everything suggested in threads as well to make it work, to no avail. Then, I got this lil diddy and boy oh boy, it makes the world of difference with no more headaches or unexpected shut offs! Im able to transfer and download any and all games I choose right to this SSD. Plus, once formatted from the start, it shows to have the whole 2tb of data available. This one worked wonders for me and Im glad the reviews were correct about the performance of the Samsung 980 Pro. Others may have similar problems depending on the company the SSD is from, but this one worked just right for me.

Greater than one weekMore than triple the space on my PS5 now exactly what I wanted. I moved all of my PS5 games to the storage leaving the native storage open The games function flawlessly.

Greater than one weekGuys the item is as advertised, when checking the firmware because 980 pro 2tb ssds had issues with failiures because of problems with old firmware, the ssd came with the latest version of firmware, my ps5 finally has breathing space and no update was neccessary , would buy again....

> 3 dayThis is the 2nd Samsung 980 PRO that I have purchased. The first time around I got one with no heatsink since there is already one heat sink included on the motherboard. Properly installing the heat sink was kind of a pain so for the 2nd one (on a different PC) I decided to get the included heat sink.. Installation took about 3 minutes rather than 10 min without and I still have the included heat sink on motherboard if i find a killer deal on one later.. I am unable to get the full 7000mbs but I am getting close at 6500.
