Samsung has the best drives and the best free software package that others make you pay for.

Works great, easy to both install and configure in BIOS. Everything installs faster on it, and all programs saved on it load unbelievably quick. Game loading screen times are reduced to a fraction of their time. And the difference in speed from my previous sata 3 ssd (not a Samsung) is extremely noticeable and boot time was reduced by 9 seconds.

This drive exceeded all my expectations to the point I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. If you want a fast drive, it just doesnt get much faster than this.

Dont forget to get yourself a Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter, should be easy to find on amazon as well.

The Samsung 970 Evo Plus is a great option for most people! I have used this drive for years in my laptop, and am quite pleased with its performance. I split the drive into two partitions: one 128GB partition (C:\) to replace old SSD in the laptop and to serve as a boot partition, and the rest (B:\) to act as a fast storage and game partition.

Worked fantastic for just under two years. Random massive fail. Even trying to format it as a secondary SSD results in my PC shutting down and needing TWO attempts to turn it on. Then the pc is fine unless I try to format this m.2 again. Sad
