I keep my data on a separate drive from the system itself. Thus the system drive is only required to hold the operating system, paging files, and installed software. This drive has definitely improved the startup time and program loading on my system. I have used Samsung 970 EVO drives on three systems now and am completely satisfied with their performance.

Its fast. I edit video. The files I work with are humungous. So I use an ASRock motherboard with three populated M2/NVMe/PCIe slots on the board itself. Samsungs got the best reputation in this space. Intels 660p 2TB stick is half the price, with an excellent rep, but slower. I am considering installing four of those in an ASUS Hyper M2 card to make a large fast RAID. Where and when will I see name brand 4TB M2/NVMe sticks? Off brands are here, but... At this point Im still using mechanical drives for archiving projects. If youre not moving large files around on a regular basis, you can get by with the less expensive intel 660p QLC family - on sale, often, at half the price of Samsungs 970 EVO Plus.

Easy install, no hardware failures or issues with the memory modules. Benchmarks within advertised parameters. Currently using in raid array, as storage cache before HDD and they do the job splendidly. This is used in a SAN environment 24/7.

Not a cheap drive, you are paying for data safety, hardware reliability, and speed. And you get all that and more. When time is money, this saves more time for you to spend elsewhere. Would buy again.
