According to internet sources and Amazon consumers, Samsung SSDs are the ultimate in performance and durability. On these, I concur. I have purchased 18 units since 2008. Only one has died. The others function with no issues. Six are operating 24-7 for the past 14 years.

I bought this 1T SSD last October 28, 2021. Few weeks back my computer was experiencing issue with freezing and unable to boot. When I brought my computer to to a repair shop, I was told that my hard disk is broken. I contacted Amazon customer service to initiate replacement as it is still covered by a 3 year period, but Pavithra, from Amazon customer service told me that she cannot help me, because the return window expired more than 1 year ago. I contacted Samsung but was told to contact Amazon first since i bought this item from Amazon.

Hard drive is not working at all, probably it’s not new ( refurbished)

Great Upgrade! My 6 year old HHD was running slow, so I decided to clone it on to an SSD. I first bought another, less expensive brand. Although it worked at first, the drive died within weeks. Amazon had great customer service, and I was able to get a credit for the dead one, applied to this drive. Cloning took some time, but now that it’s installed, it’s been working great. Probably extended the life of my computer by a few years. Recommended!

I bought this to replace the hard drive that was failing in my PlayStation 4 Pro. Installation was super simple and the console runs so much faster than before. The difference is night and day.
