> 3 dayReally sped up an older Lenovo T460 I use as my primary machine for web design and coding, homework, and light gaming. Loading Windows is a lot faster and Ive had a bit of an increase in game performance for lightweight stuff (Terraria, first Pillars of Eternity, etc). Will probably get a larger one of these to use as my second drive for my primary gaming PC.

Greater than one weekPut this in an old HP DV7t lap top to replace a real dog of a hard drive. What a pleasure this clunker has become to work on. The cloning was no problem. Its like super charged now. The install was a breeze. Its a real pleasure using it now.

> 3 dayI tried so long to get my system to recognize this HDD that I blew right past the deadline to return it. Its been weeks of trying different methods, third-party utilities, and I am just done. No matter what I do, this SSD will NOT initialize in Virtual Disk Manager or with any other tool. SAMSUNGS OWN SOFTWARE DOESNT RECOGNIZE THE DAMN THING.

> 3 dayWhat makes this drive different is the Samsung software that allows you to clone your existing drive. Far better than the western digital I used about 6 months ago.

> 3 dayI installed it on a more than 7 year old desktop computer and the computer seems much faster. Much easier to install than on a laptop only because the laptop hard drive bay was harder to get at. You will need a metal bracket or adapter which is a separate purchase to attach it to the existing 3.5 inch hard drive bay.
