Never had any issues with this device, or any in cloning for it, on a true hard drive cloner, or using the Samsung software where I could take a 2TB hard drive and fit it onto only a 500 GB drive with ease. Nothing to report negative about it, and I have used the 860 and the 870, and used both of them to clone from one to the other with samsungs software having to issues at all.

Doesn’t work. Period.

This was super easy to install and worked fine on a 10 year old HP touchscreen 600. No issues. I used a cheaper case adapter (around 5 bucks i think) which i found on AMZN for convenience but I believe it was unnecessary.

Works as intended, a good amount of memory to store OS and a couple large games.

It’s a sata ssd

I have upgraded many laptops, desktops, and servers with various models of Samsung EVO SSD. Migration has been painless with the Samsung software and reliability/performance have been everything I wanted. I even upgraded an old (2000) Dell desktop with IDE drives to a Samsung Sata SSD using an adapter and that works fine too. Aside from the reliability, the biggest advantage to me of Samsung is the available software to make migration easy and later to manage the features of the drives.

The SSD is as it should be, no news there. Have several Samsung SSD and all are are good. Outgrew my Samsung 500 Gb Boot SSD so upgraded to Samsung 1TB SSD

I installed this in my Dell desktop Read installed the windows OS and transfer all my data Afterwards I updated the bios on a dell desktop and the computer would not boot after doing a lot of research I found out that this particular drive does not work with dell desktops with the latest from I had to buy a Different brand And redo all the work i did

I got this to upgrade the storage in my original model PS4 that was slow and out of space for digital games purchased through the Playstation Store. I was able to physically swap this into the console in place of the original HDD and reload system firmware in less than an hour. The actual install of the SSD takes roughly 5-10 mins with nothing more than a small Phillips head screwdriver. The rest of the time is waiting for the OS to reinstall. This is noticeably faster than the old HDD, though not by a jaw-dropping amount. For example, a digital copy of Far Cry 5 installed on the SSD loaded my save file in about 30% less time than the same game running on the old HDD. It is also much quieter due to not having moving parts, which is nice too. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.
